Super excited to say that the audio books are going live again soon!
I have found a wonderful new narrator and I'm ready to reveal :)
Nick Podehl! The same narrator as Patrick Rothfuss! He really brings it to life lol
Book 1 is going to be re-released in March and then another audio book will be coming out each month through the year
I'll be posting some sample chapters before it comes out!

Alright, so as soon as I saw this trailer, I thought, meh, probably not, but hey, it has Abed and I'm a leaf on the wind guy. Let's give it a shot!

It's about a reasonably cute, sad sac girl and here gumption.

It just kinda flows from shtick to schtick and the support characters aren't landing.
I really hope they pull it all together, b/c I love Alan Tudyck and Dani Tudi. Maybe if the show is cancelled, Alan and Dani could do a remake of Johnny Quest... I would watch that

I took a lil break, but I'm getting back at it :)
I put pen to paper today and the creative juices are flowing lol.
Also, found a cool artist who I'm working with to get a village map! Hopefully it comes out well
My new narrator starts this month and will be cranking out a redone audio version of Book 1 that will be ready for March
Lots of fun stuff on the horizon lol

Happy New Year from The Land!
I'd like to share something with you guys and gals!
I had an interesting experience this morning. I was driving back from my night shift, and there was a car stalled in the middle of the highway.
I swerved around it, but I happened to look back, and saw a woman slapping the steering wheel.
I couldn't keep driving so I pulled over.
A few minutes, later we were able to push the car off the highway, onto the shoulder, and I asked the woman if she wanted a ride to the gas station.
That was when I realized she drunk and/or high. To make matters worse, her beautiful seven year old daughter was in the back seat...
I won't go into what I thought in that particular moment, but a few moments later I realized that my decision to stop and help, and possibly the fact that her car had stopped, might not have all been coincidence.
Maybe I was driving by at that moment, at that early time of 5 am, and maybe the fact that her car stalled, was because I was meant to get this woman and her child to safety. Maybe this collection of events was the only way she and her child could safely make it to 2017.
At the end, we charged her phone, and I got her to the gas station. Her sister came along and drove them back to her house...
For most of the day, I have been really bothered by what I saw. A young child, full of promise and hope, and a mother who could barely speak straight.
I have been angry for a good part of the day, full of judgement and condemnation.
Well guys, it's taken a day, but I've let that go. I've realized that justified or not, my indignation does not help. Also there could very well be more to the story than I know.
What I have chosen to focus upon is that maybe, just maybe, the kindness I showed did make a difference. Maybe, just maybe, the life of that little girl will take a better turn in the future.
I don't know guys.
I just thought it might be meaningful that this random collection of events happened as the year is changing. Maybe it was just chance and coincidence, but maybe, just maybe, the things we do, and the places we end up have meaning. That's what I believe.
As we move into the New Year, please don't forget that each and every one of you are important.
Sorry if that got preachy :)
I promise there will be inappropriate jokes and shenanigans for the next 365 lol
