I haven’t got sleep this good in ages, and without my earmuffs nonetheless. My everything is giving off a real nice muscle tingle, not unlike how it felt to race race back when I was on the running team…. Back before it all became too easy, at least.

It all happened in a flash
My sight went from a blinding white to an overwhelming red.

I slowly began to step back with my hands in the air, making sure not to lose eyes contact with that growling massive mutt approaching me. It was about 4, maybe 5 weeks back.
Aside from strong sensations and vague images, I never really was able to recall what happened on that night all that well.
The feeling of being young and untouchable.
Being top dog at drinking, beer pong and arm wrestling.
