In the sketch of the man and woman seated at the table, I had this idea that the woman enjoyed torturing her partner by making him watch her eat her delicious home-cooked food while his own plate grew cold. Most of the art time in November was spent on the Halloween illustration. You might have seen from last month I was leaning towards a party theme; I finally decided to go all out and feature everyone (or, almost everyone) in costume. I was tempted to add a few pumpkins in there for good measure, but there wasn't a whole lot of room... Next time ;)

2016-10-11 01:05:57 +0000 UTC View PostWhere I live, the weather has gotten noticeably cooler! I miss the warmer days, but it IS nice not to need the A/C running all the time.
These sketches take advantage of a looser hand, which means the anatomy is a little more questionable, but I was able to get into a better rhythm. I've also included more WIPs than usual, so you can see the different layers that make up a finished piece. All final art can be found on the Tumblr website.

In other news, I finally went out and bought a physical sketchbook! So far, I mostly use it to work out ideas that I then draw digitally, but we'll see if that changes...
