The last couple weeks of July have benchmarked some cruely high temps, which have put a stupor to our work output. As promised, this week was spent focused on Mocap Animation, featuring Ragnarøk! There are a few issues with the mocap data between the suit and Blender that need to be ironed out, but fortunately the process is becoming more streamlined and valuable. Howdy folks,
I will be out of town for the holiday, and as such will be postponing the new content/codes until next Monday (July 10). Patreon is also delaying allowing some of the users access to creator's content due to its new policies, and as such I have been notified by a few folks of this ordeal. I am hoping this is alleviated by next week.

For the Silver+ Tier members this week, we have a new WIP of the Falco Lab animation, with facial animation and light work (that had to involve key framing the UV mesh, fun fact). Some clipping and hand movements will be tweaked later as well, as well as editing of the clips. The second half is in the works, but I will need to re-record the mocap data due to hand tracking issues, aka involuntary jazz hand syndrome.

New month means New animations! We got more mocap work underway featuring Macro Falco content. First time implementing growth with mocap, so it's a new process to make sure the pacing and beats for acting are being hit right for the action. We got polished mocap animation ft. Raskus! A small test to see how long clean-up would be for raw mocap data (twisting joints, floating feet, etc.), with some good results. The motion capture technology has arrived! After spending the week working though settings and tests, we have an un-rendered and rendered version of some movement tests featuring Monty Gator. The data is directly imported without cleanup, hence you can see where character clips and does not align properly, which would be fixed in post. Expect a lot more content like this as we start making full animations with the tech!
