Sickness and exhaustion took a hold of me this week, as was seen in my lack of social media postings and streams. We have a new illustration for N7 day available, and some previews of clothes modeling for Raskus' 3D model. The modeling and transfer of weight painting (aka how much a bone moves a mesh) has not been cooperative, and is taking much longer than anticipated. Blender be like that sometimes.

More motion capture practice means we got a new animation dance music video up! It took a bit longer to render than I anticipated, hence the day delay in uploads. I am looking to invest in a full-body motion capture suit to make the entire process easier for animations and streaming, but it is a heavy investment ($2500 on the low end, $25,000 on the high end). I spent the week practicing animating with motion capture assets. It is both a blessing and curse, depending on the details of it . I have tried a few different software's, each with their own gimmicks, but am discovering that outside of using practically the entire base loop, it's not as simple as one would hope.
