Im thinking of doing a resin coat with real pressed flowers encased on the top like in the last pic. Might be a cool effect!

[WIP] Fox woodburn
Worked on this for a solid 10 hours today @_@
Some challenges:
4-5 hours of it was burning the background in which still isnt completely done
This particular wood piece is acting strangely with watercolors and absorbs water very quickly making it hard to blend. It also gets super dark with water for some reason so im not seeing the correct values until it dries.
But im persistent and will get around this somehow! Have so far. Hope you all like it so far.

Tags have been FIXED
it took ages BUT i FINALLY fixed the tags on all my posts!! it was bugging me lol. WIP and doodle are finally separated, and also since different capitalization also separates posts, I fixed that as well.
Sorry about that, Im not sure why I started by grouping WIP/Doodle lol but they are now separated if that was bugging anybody.

Im currently starting a Red Fox Woodburn but I've been brainstorming ideas for an oil painting diptych (two separate pieces that go together) but im not sure what to choose!

I always have a hard time parting with my woodburns, I really like how they come out with the 3D and depth and color I add to them! I like this one! But I am much happier when I know theyre going to someone who will enjoy them even more than I do ❤️
