These are very rough sketches and the final will be up to par with my usual work. Changes may be made.

1. Couldn't Wait (kissing wolves) 16x20 inches

2. Classical (black and white wolf) 22x28 inches or most likely bigger, im thinking possibly 24x36 inches or so. Since they are full bodies id like more room for detail.

Yote paws FINAL NO VARNISH

Ok guys sorry i lied the feet took literally my entire session yesterday to get them to look good but NOW hes done.. after some nitpicking today. It was really nice to just focus on painting some flowers and a pretty corner of the piece today!

If anyone has any critique pls pls pls lmk!! Better pics when varnished, the hoodie and paw pads and any blacks will look a lot better then bleh

Day 3 WIP

Day 3… didnt get as far as i wanted to today cuz was very physically ill :/ but tomorrow will be better . I think i didnt do bad at all considering (probably just being tough on myself a bit)

As usual, if youre new here, darks/blacks will look very very bad and the lighting on it will be streaky until its varnished. This will make finishing the hoodie very tricky for me as the darks lighten up once dry. I tend to make do and have to trust that my new paint matches what the old one wil...

This one is inspired by a study I recently read where coyotes thrive more in denser population urban environments, which made me happy. It is my favorite animal I think, after all.

With that I think this may be my last watercolor for awhile! I kind of find the medium frustrating nowadays to be honest. I don't enjoy how the paint is not opaque at all and has no texture to it. I won't give it up forever of course and maybe I will revisit but I just enjoy other traditional mediums more. I...

Posting this a bit earlier than the poll so people can read before voting-

last time i kinda knew which ones yall were gonna choose but this time i have no idea, i quite like all of the choices so they will definitely reappear in future polls if they lose

PS for the record i did attempt at doing a dragon choice but i think it came out mid so its back to the drawing board until i can come up with something more creative for that one.

Katon Nexus Watercolor Commission

GUYS this is the first watercolor I shot on a camera and I think it came out way more amazing, the second pic is the scan which I was very unhappy with so I tried shooting it on my camera and I'm very happy. Really shows the depth and the texture.

Really wish I could go back and shoot a ton of my watercolors now :( but I will try to reshoot the few I didn't sell off
