Finished up with inking, colouring, toning and adding the effects to make it look like a cheezy Power Rangers effect. Here's what it looks like when all of that is put together. Best panel ever.

The title says it all. After a small break I decided to work on the top panel because I thought it was easier to do since I was going to spend a lot of time on the bottom panel.

After refining the very top panel I decided to detail one of my favourite panels.

This is how I create the frames for the animations. I draw on one layer using a different colour, then I fill the inside of the image with black and then I colour the outline with a bright pink (with some hints of blue). Then I repeat it three times or more until it's ready to animte in photoshop.

After finishing off those panels I started working on the next chunk of the page. I started with detailing the figure (Joal) and made sure that it stood out from the background, by adjusting the colour scheme.

The title says it all! I changed the colour of the lightning and added some glow effects to make it pop out.

After inking, colouring and toning the belt I thought about adding some lightning, kind of like those cheesy Power Rangers special effects.

After almost finishing the final panel I discovered that it didn't look right. The final panel felt like a copy and paste, even though it was! So I decided to do a close up of the belt (with flashy lightning effects, pew pew).

While working on one panel I decided to copy and paste the same drawing and move the image onto the next panel over. Then I erased the face and moved the head slightly downward.

After changing the pose of the second panel I decided to ink, colour and toned the characters and backgrounds. I copied the background three times for each panel, except for the fourth panel, I needed to create a new panel background from scrach.

I started with the easiest panels for me to detail. There will be some changes with the second panel because that pose wasn't the best. It didn't look right so I changed it later on.

After many sketches and drawings of the same character in different positions, I finally decided to go back to the original sketch of the pose and work from that.

After I finished all but one panel from the top part of the page, I decided to start the panel just below the one I missed out. I did this because I spent over 30 minutes drawing and redrawing that single panel.
So, I took a break from that panel and started working on the new panel you see here.

After finishing up the last panels, I decided to start detailing, inking and colouring the very top panels you see before you. I also had to redesign the second panel because I wasn't able to figure out the pose of the character in the comic (Joal... Just Joal).

After finishing off with inking and colouring this panel I wanted to try to figure out where the lights and shadows would hit and how luminated the lights should be.

After I inked and coloured everything I needed to create a simple background. So I created one for one panel, merged it all together and then copied and pasted it onto the next panel.

This is pretty much how I colour all my backgrounds. I take a previous page I've coloured already, stripped it from its textures and use the colour picker to use for the newest page, this also workes for the characters too.
Note: I need to create some character references after I finish the chapter.

While this panel was inked and ready for colouring I completly forgotten to add the white border around the inked character. So I had to draw it by hand without messing up the layer.
