Duske had been trained by Rema not long after adopting him. It was his desire to do for others as she had for him. There was reason on her part to think he had experience of some kind prior when taking to the rigors as second nature. Isalme's knights had developed a physical regimen prioritized and researched by it's physicians. Before this, Duske learned technical skills such as being ambidextrous, coordination and proficiency with various weapons.

*I believe I've stated before, but a big reason to go back over so much is because I worked with little time between work, daily life and sleep, and sleep was sacrificed often to get certain pieces done over time. Others were rushed and this was one of those. The composition could be improved, but it feels cozy.

Lost Children Pt.1 Illustrations w/process

*Quite a bit of time spanning between these. I think...Illust. A was a drawing? Maybe not and just an early drawing on tablet, but I know I updated this a year or so later and added characters as they were created/finalize. A good number of characters in the background were added later, but I don't have that version anymore. It was likely lost with computer switch. Not even sure if online somewhere.

Transients w/process

*If you notice there looks like parts are erased on Rema's linework and it is just so. Since I repurposed her Transient knight piece, I think I messed something up in some way by saving to wrong layer or something and would've been a paint to fix by that point. I plan on revamping this, but it will be quite a bit of work and need to solidify Nar's suit of armor first. Composition will switch up, but I'll do a sketch at some point to highlight the process.

Transients

Transitorios, the shadows of Ematus Sercia, a small gilt-edged branch under the command of Commander/Demon Megido Amaudio. Among them are three Sergeants/Demos under Amaudio; Rema Merloci, Nar Valence and Leien Edwin, elite of the elite. Permitted not only gran glyphs, but also rare glyph weapons the kingdom of Isalme was able to procure. Taking order directly from the King or princes of the provinces, their tasks range from assaulting battalions, assassinations or whatever they are required....

Analogue sketches

I envy when I see other artists take their time with sketches, because I don't at all anymore lol! Often it's still detailed as it's what's in my head, but it's fast, messy and heavily revised once on computer. There is an odd quark I have of hating to waste paper. This likely is because until even eighteen I had notebook paper or preferably computer paper to work on. Never had the money until I started working to get art book and supplies.

Comic practice

*Paneling practice from a scene I had in mind at the time. The most intimidating thing about paneling is being decisive on the best approach. When you're not good at it everything seems like a great option, so it really is learning a new skill, as it's far more than just drawing. Composition and story flow, dialogue placement all matter.
My foreshortening was terrible on Ovara and still can be a struggle.

Comic WIPs

Old concepts to the start of a LC Pt.1 comic. I knew how it needed to start, but it was confusing knowing how to, if that makes sense. Very different now with this being from 2018 and this story being pretty solidified narratively.
