First illustration of Sorrow. She's not bad to draw and seems as though could be an easy one to get used to unlike her mum (hair, specifically). There are specifics to Sorrow's hairdo I have to pay attention to, though there is wiggle room. I think I'm getting a bit better with compositions and working lighting and shadow in more effectively.

Just off to the side, right at the corner of the eye, sits that tasty snack. We know what the highlight of the study will be.

*Third go at it as I reworked it a few years ago with my skill at the time. Still didn't turn out great in some areas.
The softer paint-overs go well with overlays and textures being laid over. I THINK I noticed this with some pieces online I've seen, but can't be sure, though I do notice what seems like texturing that gives this...not sure the word. Granular? Sedimented?
