Penumbra - Female latente

Concept for a Penumbra of the high-blood in their natural form. This would technically be an ancient Penumbra as it is uncommon for them to have horns the last generation and half. It is believed their connection to the abyss determines how their bodies develops for the first few centuries. The wing span is not the actual size represented above. As in Cachusa's latente concept, it would be doubled (so with the wings gathered round her, they would trail behind her like a gown.

Penumbra anatomy I

B shows the extension of the jaw muscles with further elongation of the lateral incisor and cuspids. It's possible for further extent to a monstrous extent, yet that would be only possible in an abyssal corrupted form.

The cuspids are connected to a venom gland just above the molars. Penumbra can release this toxin in degree, lower volumes inducing a paralytic state. Any more than this will lead to an arrest of the nervous system and death.

Yousei ~ Kagayaki Bushin designs

Bushin or bussin are a warrior class found in both Kagayaki and Echimiyaka, while other lands possess equivalents in some respect. With the bushin, warriors trained to fight as the wind with blade martial prowess. If they are to wear any armor, it is sparse as it as seen to be restrictive nor sensible given they must be swift.

Kagayaki shinobi designs

The Tsutendai, or 'cast without' are these particular shinobi and their design. Based on the Yousei hired to either kidnap or assassinate Prince Alphamus in 113 SE.

Their garbs are simple variants of garbs worn in their homeland, lacking flourishes typically found. What indicators remain are their masks called kamanoke, a touch of armor or thread or rope bindings denoting the clan and rank they carry within the Tsutendai.

Faed

Faed are a kind of Laust undoubtedly touched by the abyss. Those that rose from their bed not long after have adapted, while those exposed further a not so kind fate. They only seem to enjoy the company of their own. Because they live around Gardens, they tolerate their fellow Laust and will take to mischief against them. It is said some hunters have capture or killed Faed for their secretions, which are used in certain tonics and elixirs.

Covering Ehmatta

First go at one of the unfallen ehmatta, where there are only two in existence. This being based on Gavriel. Three sets of wings cover the face, body and feet in honour of the Godhead divinity.

Aqualite - female designs

The kinds of Aqualyte from left to right: Xana, Ysul, Een, Ela'ele and Toa-Qshl. I've a few more of the female kinds to do, and then varied type of each after. It'll be a lot, but one reason why I've put off doing the races. For the actual designs (pairing of male and female) I'll add their info. For now I can say that these, Ela'ele least, are the most humanoid of the Aqualyte.

Aqualite - Male designs

Xana - The Xana live both on the land and the sea and have been known to fair well with inland waters as well. The more accommodating of the Agea to outsiders next to the Toa-Qshl, they were the first to open their villages to trade. Among the Agea, they are craftsmen and builders as well as having warrior tribes. Not the strongest of their kin despite their size, they do possess the ability to trigger spurts of adrenaline, giving a clear advantage.

Sometimes you delve to deep into what things look like and how they work. I've no idea the relevance of this, but it's just background information for me. It's been awhile since I had to think on this again, but I'll have something in the future in the processes between the kinds.

A woman of Norland, living on the plains and highlands. Besides the elders, the women run the community and vital industries of the village where the men provide the resources. Where family trade allows, there will be exceptions, though this suggests far more responsibility and reputable status among the people. Ansgar WIP

An illustration I wasn't happy with. For one, why is someone that is supposed to have his Aero Booster running on the ground and a dragon also, on the ground?? Maybe it makes sense in a storyboard before things kick off, but not a dynamic illustration or good composition.
