Just a preview because I hesitate to throw the whole thing at you without a warning! 

The reason I'm censoring this is because it is rather gorey and bloody, with a demon ripping off the wing of an angel. There's some nonsexual nudity too, but nothing too detailed. If you're fine with this, go ahead and download the attachment!

Ah Iralee. I channeled all cool aunt energy I could into her and was really pleased to see she was so widely loved by the readers! Her speech is very hard for me to write though — I'm not very confident in my grasp in English and its dialects.

In the first draft woodlanders were very military; standing in strict straight lines, you speak when spoken to. It felt a bit too extreme in the end, but I did keep some of the mentality.

Time works differently, so for one week on Earth, Lucky has been there for two years. Then 20, then 200...

I imagine Maura is a young and inexperienced mother, who's not always sure how to approach Kasko's troubles but does her absolute best for him. She has a knack for motherhood though, and navigates Kasko's evasive nature better than anybody.

Fun fact if you didn't know: Her colors are from Kasko's earliest design! The very first version of Kasko was melanistic with blue eyes, and I had this sketch of his mom calling him darling blackbird. I still wanted to keep the pet name. Maybe it's what her parents called her when she was little.

The mother's name isn't stated anywhere, but in my notes I've called her Maura.

I have this side comic in mind, called And I, You. It's a story of two wolves and their (dysfunctional) relationship, it has a tiny cast and operates in two timelines. Its style would be way more experimental and loose than GS, which requires such a high amount of work.

This is a project I've had in my hat for a good while now. I don't know if I will tackle it when I reach more stable place with GS, or will I just leave it. I've written the beginning in novel form but haven't w...

This page bugs me a lot because after working on it, I realized it's quite close to KayFedewa's BBA latest page. I imagined the camera panning from treetops to capture the whole picture, but it ended up unfortunately similar. The resemblance wasn't calculated, I don't know if the image was in my subconsciousness and I took inspiration from it. 😔
