In April of 2013, I tried recording a cover of Will the Circle Be Unbroken. The way I was doing things back then is I sat down to record a full take of the song from start to finish. Filming while simultaneously recording the audio of the live performance in Logic.
Once I had the main take, I focused on the recording session, trying to arrange the song into a more unique version. Sadly, I wasn't able to figure out something that made me happy. I said, "I'll try later."

I managed to [clumsily] film a bit of the process of mounting the last of the acoustic panels in the studio! A couple of you had asked how it works, so I hope this can show you. :)
I ran the sound analysis test again and the reverb in the room did go down a bit more! Wooo! Here's the image I had shared in the previous video (the Finally in the Studio one):

Hey guys!
This is the color of the studio walls! I was wrong, I had mentioned previously they seemed more blueish, but no. It's purple. Hehe! It's a bit of a cooler purple than in the previous room, and I dig it. I feel it works as a nice color as a background for vids.
Painting was finished today. Now, we move on to adding a ton of outlets all over the room. Every 3 feet I think. I can never have enough outlets. haha! After that, will be ceiling lights, then floors, then... WE MOV...

I wrote this month's Patreon letter rewards today, and all the while, I wondered what I can do to improve this experience and the pledge rewards. Hey guys! Hope you're having a sweet Sunday. I am sitting outside with Thor and Omi and I just recorded this song. Let me know what you think of this video "format". It was actually so nice to record here. Makes everything feel more natural.

Yaaaay! All the parts of the studio are starting to arrive. These are the decorative acoustic panels that I will hang on walls once we do the "room within a room" treatment. :D Wooo! I had to take them all out of their boxes and leave them outside because THEY STINK.

This is another video I'm glad I got to make before moving. It's interesting how as time went by, I kept building this room little by little. It wasn't until I had to pack everything up that I realized just how much I had customized this space and how much I loved it.
Most of my recent thoughts about it had been, "This room is too small. I can't fiiiiit." But, it was a great place to have. <3 <3 <3
Although the production value is low, while editing this video a few minutes ago, I realized how happy I am that I captured this moment. When I left for college, my best friends sang this song for me. When I graduated and moved again, this song was present in my mind. And any other major relocation changes (which usually go hand in hand with life changes or adjustments) had me singing this song softly to myself.
