KOF 98 is often considered, not only one of the best King of Fighters games, but also one of the best fighting games ever. I can totally see that, but I just wondered why there were missing characters in a game that was supposed to have everyone (luckly, this was changed in future revisions)... Also, I didn't really like the art style and Athena's new costume.

The very first KOF I've ever played and it was love at first sight.
Everyday after school, muy best friend and I played this. I could never beat him, but I didn't care. I was just having fun. Man, this game is awesome!

THIS Is when The King of Fighters became an amazing game! Combos and special moves were simpler to do, the AI was challenging but fair (most of the time), the story was incredible and the characters got new sprites and amazing new desings, like Athena's sexy miniskirt.

You know, I'm playing KOF: The Orochi Saga Collection and I'm trying to get the Platinum trophy there, and despite the fact that The King of Fighters is my favorite fighting franchise, I really hate KOF 94 and 95.
Early 90s fighting games are the worst. The AI is super unbalanced!!
