Greetings Tier-3 Mythicists! Mythic Magazine #45 is almost done, so it'll be posting soon. Before I launch the next content poll, I wanted to check and see if any of you have ideas for articles you've been pondering but haven't mentioned publicly.
I have no shortage of article ideas at the moment, with maybe 30 or 40 in the current list. However, I'm always on the hunt for new takes on solo play or hearing what Mythicists are thinking about and wanting.
When I think of an idea, or...

Greetings Tier 3 Mythicists! I hope everyone is having a magical August so far!
This month's preview is the cover art for the next issue of Mythic Magazine. The art is by the always amazing Jorge Muñoz and goes with the "Magical Tradition Generator" article. The generator covers magical traditions across all genres, so Jorge came up with a modern mage using techno-magic. I'm doing well if I can get my cell phone to play Brickout, but this guy is using his to conjure a cube for some pur...

Greetings Mythicists! I hope your games are going well, and you're collecting lots of loot from dungeons. I've been in a very dungeon frame of mind since putting out Kozen Crest. I think I'll send my current fantasy character into it to see what happens and to scratch that dungeon delve itch!
So what's going on over here, and what's progressing? Let's take a look ...

Mythic RPG 2e
Work continues on the second edition of the red book. I'm still in the Characters chapter, although it's almost done. I think this section is going to be the heart of the book, since it comprises most of what is new and different about this edition.
The Pipeline...

Greetings Tier 3 Mythicists! I hope everyone's month has gotten to a good start, and if you decide to take a trip into the Kozen Crest dungeon I'd love to hear how it goes for you!
Last issue was a dungeon crawl and slice of life ... a slice of dungeon crawl? ... what will the next issue be? That's up to you!
As usual, there are 10 ideas below. Select as many as you like, and I'll choose the top two vote-getters from separate categories.
Let the selecting BEGIN! :)

Greetings Mythicists! The latest issue of MM is ready, and is packed full of dungeony goodness.
This issue is a big one, clocking in at around 80 pages. A big chunk of that are tables, because there's a dungeon adventure in here that requires a lot of them!
So let's run down what's going on here:
The Crypts of Kozen Crest: This is a solo fantasy adventure, classic dungeon crawl quest. While this can be used as a standalone adventure, it's also a random ...

Greetings Tier 3 Mythicists! I have need of your brains.
Not in a zombie diet kind of way, but in a creative input way!
The image above is Belmont The Red, and he's the subject of the Big Example I'm writing for the article on everyday, slice of life adventures. My question to you: what's his story? What angle should the example come from?
The slice of life article is about solo adventures taking place about everyday stuff, like daily work and other mundane things. I'm think...

Greetings Mythicists! I want to show you the cover of the solo adventure module that will be featured in the next issue of Mythic Magazine, #44.
The Crypts of Kozen Crest is the third solo adventure ever published in MM. It's been a while since the last one, issue #22 with Journey To Kitra Isle.
Kozen is a straight up, old school style dungeon delve. It's got windy passages, it's got monsters, it's got traps, it's got strange lore. All kinds of dark, moody, dangerous stuff. Plus ...

Greetings Tier 3 Mythicists! I hope your July has been chock full of good solo adventures :)
For this month's preview, I want to talk about the Meaning Tables in Mythic RPG 2e. Above are a couple of new ones in the Character Creation chapter. There are, right now, 22 tables for chargen which you can use to generate a completely random character, or to help inspire ideas for your character, or for making NPCs.
There are numerous skills and abilities table. The one above, Areas of K...

Here's what's been going on lately ...
Micro Mythic
I started work on a compilation book of the One-Page rulesets. This is more than a straight up compilation of magazine content, however; I want this to be a sort of alternative, super simple Mythic and Crafter all-in-one book. I'm debating whether to have it be a purely solo toolkit, or to expand it into a full yet s...

Greetings Mythicists! With the latest episode of the podcast gone live, I figured it's time to ask you all what you think the next episode should be about. I originally thought to continue with the adventure and do Scene 2, but I wondered if you might want a break from it or to hear something different.
Please choose one or two options from the selections below, and I'll try to make the next podcast about the winner.
Happy adventuring! :)

Greetings Tier 3 Mythicists! I need your creative input on something.
I'm working on an offset press edition of Mythic GME second edition. I want this to be a really nice edition of the book. Being offset printed, the book will have endsheets ... those are the two pages at the front and back of the book that attach to the hardcover exterior. In most books, those pages are blank or have artwork or something on them.
I want to put tables there for easier reference. I've attached ima...

Greetings Tier 3 Mythicists! I hope your June is moving along nicely, with plenty of piping hot role-plays!
This month's preview is a selection of artwork from Jorge Muñoz that rights a wrong from last month ... giving Sir Hop Von Hoppity some spotlight attention!

Greetings Mythicists! I hope your day is going well and your games are exciting :)
I have another installment of the Mythic Magazine Podcast. I'm picking up from where I left off, where in the last two episodes I built a setting. I got a zombie apocalypse in a domed city.
This episode is about making a character to play in that setting. I'm using the in-development Mythic Roleplaying Second Edition rules. Since these character building rules are still being hammered out, I did not...

Greetings Mythicists! I have a fresh new issue of Mythic Magazine for you!
First, I'd like to say that I love the cover art Jorge did for it. I asked for classic fantasy, and he delivered classic fantasy. Thanks Jorge!
The articles in this issue really made me think. Every issue does, but this one got more psychological in some ways. The article on solo play fatigue made me examine my own hangups with what stops me from playing. I listened to what others were saying and experienci...

Greetings Tier 3 Mythicists! I have an artistic preview for you this month.
The art above is the cover image for the upcoming Mythic Magazine #42. I asked Jorge to make something that was evocative of classic fantasy, and he didn't disappoint! I didn't give him any other direction, as I was curious what "classic fantasy" meant to him. This looks like something that could be the cover of a fantasy RPG.
Issue #42 is in the works. The articles inside include ideas for getting out of ...

Greetings Mythicists! The Mythic Magazine Podcast returns for a third installment.
This time we return to the zombie apocalypse world setting that I started in the previous episode. I got as far as establishing the basics of this setting, that it involves a domed city in a zombie apocalypse future.
In this episode, I develop the History Paths to create a background for this world and find out how it got to be this way.
