Off The Grid

I feel like the title of this set is fitting seeing as I have been somewhat off the internet grid the last couple of days. ;) It's been so hectic trying to get all the last minute arrangements taken care of before I start shooting my calendar on Thursday. Tree of Life

This is one of the most beautiful sets I have shot in years. I can't even describe the beauty of this tree or its magnificence when seen in person. This tree is over 250 years old, having been planted around the 1740s. Seeing how clean the area was kept was very refreshing. I wish we would have had time to go back and spend more time in this lovely place instead of just shooting there. I was also seriously bummed out that I forgot to bust out the Polaroids while there. *doh!*

New Hairs!

It feels really weird to have my hair all pink again. I love the color but it's definitely going to take some adjusting to this. I gotta change up my brow game for sure and possible find some different foundation. It's funny how hair color changes your skin tone's appearance so much. I'm off to a shoot now, so should be a good time getting some pictures with fresh hair!

Beauty...err...Booty

Doing my thang... In my favorite attire. 😜 I really can't wait to finish getting that "HATE" tattoo removed. 🙄 It seemed like a good counter to the LOVE tattoo when I got it, but I really don't like having such a strong negative word on my body. 🙈 We had a great night at the meet and greet for Patrecon. I love that it was low-key and easy to chat with anyone. I got some idea already in the works for the upcoming changes here and I'm excited to see what they have to talk about tomorro...

SHIPPED!

All prints and polaroid packages have been SHIPPED! It stupidly took a few hours today because the printer only works on JD's computer, so I had to go use his stuff. But it's all sent out! And all of you got an extra print because someone got a discount on 8x10s last month. ;)

I hope you all like them! Monica, your package will likely go out next week since I'm adding some things to it. Chris, yours is on its way!

Fright Dome Photoshoot Vlog

I felt like this was a bit much to share in the normal places, so here ya go! This was part of the seance room in Fright Dome. The table was not steady at all since the support was only in the center, so I had to be pretty careful maneuvering around on top of it. Luckily I had my little skull friend here to help me out. 💀 Shooting Saturday with Radiant Inc was definitely a breath of fresh air, as was doing makeup and hair for both the models who booked me. This a just a quick for funsies set with the love of my life. ;)

I wish I could tell you how miserable it was shooting this set. You see, all that greenery back there means there is lots of moisture, which in turn means lots of bugs. As you also might see, this dress is short. And yep! you guessed it ... I didn't use any bug spray. After a total of maybe 15 minutes shooting in this spot, I had a solid 5-7 more bug bites than I had accumulated earlier in the day. Was it worth it? Duh...

Back In The Closet

Got in a little gym time, had a lunch meeting, and am back home to get comfy so I can go clean the office! Ideally, this is what I would wear instead of the dress I had on with it, but you know, there's issues with that. 😜 Got a few new photo sets coming up for you in a few!

Makeup Tip of the Day: Mascara

If you get mascara on your eyelids or under your eye while applying it, rather than trying to wipe it off immediately let it dry and then flake it off once it is dry. This way you will only have to touch up a small part where the mascara was and may have possibly brought off a little bit of color underneath it. Once I started doing this, it changed my life. It saves so much more time than having to touch up a whole streaky area. 😀

Party With Me!

On November 16th, JD and I will be part of an event to benefit Village of Life, which helps low-income single parents with housing. We are opening this up first to our patrons, and in a couple days we will open it up to the general public. 

We will be starting the evening with a group workout, which will be led by Michelle Rasmussen (president and founder of Village of Life). The workout will be about 30 minutes long, followed by a little bit of yoga. This will not be a crazy hard workout...

Running Around In Lingerie

This Friday is the magazine release party for Radiant Inc here in Vegas at Millenium Fandom Bar. They'll be giving out free copies of the issue to the first 30 people who come by their table. They haven't released an issue in well over a year, so it's kind of a big deal. LouLou D'vil is on the cover and has a feature, and I have a couple photos in the mag from the set I shot with Shannon Brooke in April.  I'll be there 9-11 pm at least, if not later. We do fly out to Austin the next morning...

NYC Trip - Day 5

It was a great weekend with Alina, but today was the day we had to part ways and head home.  WAAAAAAHHHHH!
