Painting Faces

Radiant Inc got me a nice behind the scenes shot yesterday while I was doing makeup for Dany. If any of you want to see the shoot live chats, I shared them on my Facebook page. I wasn't able to stream them myself since I was also coaching her and needed to give her more of my attention. Tonight went wonderfully weird and full on Elvis/Vegas style. Jellyfish Jones is the photographer. She always has such a creative vision for her shoots and between her and my wardrobe, we get some killer stuff. 👌🏻

I don't think I've ever had so much fun working as I did tonight at Ben and Jerry's. On Free Cone Day, they give free single scoops of ice cream to anyone who comes in. Any donations recieved go to the charity specified at each location. We were at the District Green Valley Ranch location, which chose to support the Casa Foundation. Pineapple is loaded with vitamin C, which is an excellent immune booster. This time of year everyone seems to be sick with colds and the flu which makes it an ideal time to pack in the vitamins and nutrient dense foods. 

No, this shoot was not really intended for promoting pineapple, but ya know, I've been dying to get back to Hawaii, so I'm squeezing in every bit of the pineapple I can. ;)

Gray Skies + Patreon Winners!

Man, I do love a good rainy day. It's my second favorite weather (coming after snow) and the clouds make for great photos. The direct sun can be very harsh, so the clouds really help to soften the lighting making for a more even, flattering light. I was supposed to be shooting studio stuff with Radiant, but I wanted to do at least one outdoorsy photo to take advantage of the weather.

Fortunately for me, the weather has been cloudy and rainy all weekend! I don't know if I've ever seen 3 day...

Highlight on Fleek?

I don't know if my prom makeup artist was way ahead of the trend or I was ummm, "glowing". You know, when you're so oily you shine bright like a diamond.

For real though, my friend Kim did a fabulous job on the makeup and even painted a star over my eye. I believe she awakened my passion for makeup.

Photoshoot Fun

Today was crazy busy. Started out at the lingerie show with Tyes by Tara and then went to shoot with Jess W Photography for a bit. We got some awesome shots and luckily her kiddos and hubby got some behind the scenes shots because I wasn't able to. I don't like asking everyone around to take pictures of me taking pictures. lol. One of her sons was really rad and held my phone for a Fb chat. It's up on my page if you want to see more. Tomorrow consists of the DMV (ew!), an afternoon appointment...

Good Morning!

Today is the first morning in a while where I have awakened feeling pretty good. The allergies have been killing me in Vegas lately and I've found it hard to be very functional before noon. Lol.

I Scream for Ice Cream!

From the summer months of my 2015 calendar. Funny fact: I got frostbite on my fingers from holding this ice cream cone so long. 😂 I think the worst of it was on my pinky. Part of the skin died and everything. So gross. But the shots came out awesome! Good memories in Newport. 😍

Vivid Vivkaaaaaa!

I cannot even begin to tell you how rad this shoot was for me. Vivka has been a huge inspiration to me since the beginning of my modeling career. She always seemed like this bubbly, energetic, playfully sexy beast of a lady. And she totally is. Vivka is one of the very few models who is everything I hoped she would be in real life. Wait, I'm BEHIND the Camera?!

That's right. Today was a wonderful photography treat. Natasha is one of my favorote clients ever and lucky for me, she came to town this weekend wanting to shoot. 📸 I first met Natasha last year and had one of the most exciting shoots of my career. Today was equally as fun. I did her makeup and hair along with providing wardrobe and eventually taking the photos. It's a ton of work, but the shots look great! I've really been missing the photography side of things, so today was a nice refresh...
