More Bocchi the Rock today! I know i've already covered a bunch of their songs, but there just isn't that much out there that I feel would be better to post at the moment.

That being said, they are some of the most fun songs for me to recreate, and this was no exception :)

We back again with more Bocchi the Rock! I'm not 100% sure if there's more songs that I should be covering after this, from the Kessoku Band album, but this wraps up the "main" ones i'd say.

I've been really enjoying playing these songs, so much so that i've wrote a song of my own that is within the same genre as this album, and i'll be releasing that in the coming weeks :)

Note that I couldn't accurately transcribe the two instances of slowly sliding up the neck from the 1st fret in bars 3-4 in the intro, and right before the guitar solo. It's pretty straight forward though, you can just see me do it in the video :)

Studio Makeover Part 1

I hope your week is going well so far 🙌🏻

I'm currently starting the reshaping of my studio space. I've never really liked the whole colourful "anime" aesthetic with all of the figures and LED colourful lights etc, so I'm switching it up to look a lot warmer and more natural. I've got to get the wooden panels hung up next, and I'll be having some plants around the desk to make it look a bit more colourful, but in a natural setting.

I bought a new guitar! I wanted to replace the Regius 7, as I'm not drawn to it aesthetically anymore, and this is what I went for. 

I really dig this guitar, it plays like butter and sounds hella aggressive and massive. The pale moon ebony fretboard looks and feels incredible, and it's overall faultless. 

What do you guys think to it? And should I finish this song??

I always love to play Aimer songs, she has such an expressive and unique voice that I enjoy trying to emulate on guitar. I think it turned out pretty well :)

my thoughts going into 2023

i want to wish you all a very happy new year, and talk a little about my thoughts on my 2022 and how i feel going into 2023.

i think that 2022 was a mixed bag for me. i won't lie, i lacked motivation quite a lot at times in 2022 to create covers, record videos and post to spotify etc. it's not that i don't enjoy creating music anymore, it's more that i struggled to organise myself as well as i used to. i got distracted quite a lot and would leave things until late, ...
