0.17-0.18 plans

It's time to tell you about our future plans, and this time we'll be talking about both 0.17 and 0.18. Both of these updates will have the same focus. College. There's no way we'll be able to do everything in a single month. We'll show you our roadmap in the next couple of days. Glamour 0.16

We didn't have many posts this month, but that doesn't mean we don't have anything to show for it. We spent all of our time working on the game and it gave us nice results. 0.16 is our biggest update ever, both for Glamour and for BB. So, it's our biggest update in 2.5 years. Our development process

Since we're working on a roadmap, we thought now would be a good time to talk about our development process. Some of you might be interested to learn how the sausage is made.

Currently we have five people on our team: I'm creating content (text and rendering), next person translates Russian text to English, another edits rendered images into the final product, our programmer is responsible for the engine and servers, and last but least, my assistant helps me integrate dialogs and events...

We've been working on 0.16 for almost a week now, so it's a good time to tell you our plans for the next update. Btw, soon we will create a roadmap so you'll be able to follow our progress from there.

So, 0.16. Another Max update. We added a lot of new locations in 0.12, but, unfortunately, we didn't have the time to add the most important parts: dialogs and events. We'll be focusing on them in 0.16.

Bugfixes

Fixed a bug where English version displayed wrong dialog with Fedor about a job in the hotel.

Fixed a number of bugs related to Veronica's behavior during poker.

Fixed a critical bug where a second poker game would freeze the game if Kate won but Veronica didn't have enough money for a small blind.

Glamour 0.15

It's finally here. We hope you were waiting on it as much as we were. You gave us your trust when you said we can move away from strict deadlines, and we really tried not to let you down. This update has plenty of images, dialogs, events (most of them are periodic, too!) and new gameplay mechanics.

You gain access to 0.15 content right after you finish with previous Veronica content from 0.10 (committee quest, line about Veronica). You will get a new quest in case you get stuck and don'...

0.15 is almost ready. Or, more accurately, everything but poker is already done. The minigame still needs some extra work. Hopefully, we'll work out the kinks in the next couple of days. We're aiming for June 14th release for our $40 Patrons.

Since we moved away from strict deadlines, we can't afford to release a half-baked update and need extra time for testing. We don't want you to feel like you're part of our QA team.

Progress report

Despite not having any news for a while, we're still actively working on 0.15 and the release date is right around the corner. So today we want to talk about what we're doing and our plans for 0.15.

Here's what we're going to add in 0.15. Depending on the time, we might add more, but this is the bare minimum:

Kate will finally talk with Fedor about renting his apartment with Veronica. If Kate doesn't pay on time, as a punishment she'll have to give Fedor more than just money. And the more money she'll owe, the more she'll have to do. You might be wondering how could Kate be late to pay her rent if Nicolas is going to send money on a regular basis. More on that later.
