Status update
Our designer has finished editing all images for 0.40 and the game should update itself today/tomorrow. The newest offline version will be available to download if you don't have one, but if you already have the game installed, it will update itself automatically as long as you're logged in.
But editing images from 0.40 wasn't all we were doing. We've already rendered over 120 new images for 0.41. And while it isn't as much as total amount of images in 0.40, we're aiming to release 0.41...

Glamour 0.40
Today is a good day to release 0.40. Not only it took us less than a month to make, it's our biggest update yet! It has 30% more text than our previous record, and it has about one and a half, maybe even two times more images than our average update. We didn't have any days off and didn't have the time to post on Patreon, but it was worth it!

0.40 progress report
While we never just sit on our asses doing nothing, this month is especially productive. 0.40 might turn out to be our biggest update yet. It will definitely have most images ever, over 200.
The person who usually does image editing had to take a mini-vacation, so not all images will be edited by release. Luckily, the game can just auto update and load edited versions once they're done. This also means the images we post on Patreon will also be unedited.

0.39 was more complicated than usual since it had new mechanics, and the release wasn't as smooth as we would've liked. Bugfixing took some extra time, so we've decided not to spent several days on polls. 0.40 will have a similar Alice vs Max theme, but this time it won't involve Kate. We're not going to just reuse the same images we just made in 0.39, of course, we will make new events.

We can't keep breaking records with every update, but at least we can more or less keep up with our schedule and update Glamour every month for over three years. We've managed to release an update this month too, even if at the very end of it.
While 0.39 might not break our record, it's pretty close to 0.38, both when it comes to the total amount of images, and events.

Our next update will be focused on Kate, more specifically our last poll resulted in 48% voting for the villa. The other options were Julia, College, and The List™.

This was a stressful month, and we worked every day. This is definitely the biggest update we've ever made. The number of images is about twice as high as usual, and we have about 50-60% more events. Almost every month we try to make bigger and bigger updates, which often results in us releasing updates later than we planned, usually by at least a week, sometimes two. Not this time. Technically, we made 0.38 in less than a month, the previous update was released on May 20th.

Old vs New
0.38 is close to being done, so this is a poll for future content with Max (0.40+).
Big Brother had a lot of content that can be recreated in Glamour. Until recently, we didn't have to worry about it too much, but now that Max is getting closer to many characters, we're running into an option to remake some of those events in Glamour.

Some time ago we had a poll about Kate's story's pacing. Most people voted to increase her pacing and we sped some things up. Some people might think it's too fast, and some people are glad to see more progress.
Max, on the other hand, isn't as shy as Kate was at the beginning, so his story had a headstart, in a way. And his story fundamentally doesn't have major problems like the college contract or Julia's problems with the mafia.
