Looks like I'm long overdue for an update.

This season has been pure agony as most of you know, and this video is not at all what I expected to be in length. I thought it would be about an hour and a half, to then two hours, to then two and a half hours, and now I'm at three hours. Everything up to episode 19 is fully edited, resulting in a 2 hour and 8 minute video, and looking at the edited recording I did for episode 19, it looks like it'll be an additional 15 minutes. I feel bad that I've been MIA and haven't had anything to show for TFIII-S4. Something in my personal life has gone awry last month, and demotivated me to work consistently for a few weeks. But I'm trying to come back fully fledged, and pumped out the first 10 minutes of the video. This is only episode 1 so far, so that should give you an idea of how long the final video will be. I think episode 2 will be another 10 minutes. Hope you all had a safe and merry Christmas.

As you already know, TFIII Season 4 was my next project, and my plan was to watch through it all first, without writing a script as I go along, because I really didn't remember what happened in this season whatsoever. I felt it'd have a stronger script if I knew what everything was leading up to beforehand, rather than having to edit what I've written down if future context ended up changing it.

Damn, a month's gone by so quick for me. Nothing's really changed, have had to deal with some big boy stuff now and then, but I've still been working on the NWH video. It's probably the most challenging script I've written yet. I'm finding it difficult putting everything regarding Doctor Strange and the magic into words in a concise manner, but without leaving out any counters to potential defenses for the plot holes it creates. And every now and then, I will think of new defenses or see ones...

Yep, gave both Far From Home and No Way Home a rewatch, and been working on a NWH script for the past couple weeks, and got the intro to the video edited. It will indeed be broken up into categories. Been quite curious about Everything Everywhere All at Once though, have so far only heard of it getting praised and doing a multiverse movie well. So now I want to watch it and potentially compare its multiverse mechanics/rules to NWH and see what it does better. If anyone's seen it, let me know ...

Hey lads, I realized I never really mentioned what I'm doing next now that The Strategic Genius was finally published. I previously mentioned that on the 18th I'd be leaving my full-time job and focus on YouTube and other projects I have in mind. That got pushed back to the 25th, because the 18th was too soon, so today is day one of self/unemployment lol.

Got this bad boy rendering right now, video should go live tomorrow ~ 3pm EST if no copyright issues are detected over a day. I ended up scrapping the pitch at the end, after going over my notes again I realized there were issues in and of itself and wasn’t feeling it anymore. But the video is 1 hour and 12 minutes long.

I promise Shang-Chi is so close to completion. It'll be about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I've been having this issue where once every week, I realize another noteworthy problem with the movie, and then I have to script that, record it and insert additional clips. But I'd say it's over 90% done, I'll have a full draft soon. It won't be posted until March 1st or later, because it's getting sponsored. Those with access to drafts/early access will be able to watch it sooner though.

Update - January 28, 2022

Just a little update on the Shang-Chi video: it's comin' along very nicely, the first 30 minutes of it is done with the exception of audio balance and music. Haven't mentioned this, but I'll likely be adding a pitch at the end of the video explaining what I think would have made a better Shang-Chi origin story that's more congruent with MCU phase 1 & 2, which involves erasing the twist from Iron Man 3 and beginning his story in that movie. Hope it'll sound interesting.

Happy New Year lads, and new video today. Though I hope most of you have already seen it a couple weeks ago with this whole delay I had to unfortunately do. As I've said, moving right along to the Shang-Chi video, which also is looking to be about an hour long. I’m heading to the airport in 40 minutes so I’m having youtube remove the audio from that part so I can hopefully monetize the video. Hello you beautiful people, I apologize for the lack of updates, clips, and delay on the videos. I've been working on TFIII every free moment I have, but it's become a much bigger bite than I was anticipating. I thought it would just be like my first two videos, another roughly 40 minute video. It's now exceeded 1 hour and 10 minutes. The last 3 episodes really had me talking. It should be done this week, really excited to post it.

Once that's done, I'll have a better idea if Shang-Chi ...

The current TFIII video so far, over 50 minutes long, almost fully edited, with only 3 episodes left to edit. Really trying to finish it by this weekend, but also don't want to rush it.

Sadly this means the Shang-Chi video won't be out until next month, I only have the first 7 minutes of that edited, and it might be as long, if not longer than this Flash video.
