Fashion studies

The middle took about an hour, the other two were 30-45 min. Standard round brush used in photoshop but for the middle I tried using the hard brush in the beginning. Those folds kicked my butt haha

Rewards for the last half of January.

You can see quite the large change in Chara08 with the head being flipped. Sometimes while working on something, even though I may have something in mind before starting, it make take a different shape by the final. Sometimes it can be way more off from the initial rough. Hope these give more insight on my process. Thank you for your continued support!

Train and fold studies

Some recent studies on the train and some kimono folds. Kimono and hakama folds sometimes have more straight and hard angles when compared to other materials. I draw a lot of samurais at work so this works as a helpful reminder and catching things I didnt notice before.

I apologize for the lack of updates. The deadlines for my main job always sit at the end of the month so it leaves less room for other work. I finally finished everything today so I can continue doing personal work and commissions after work and weekends. edit: Made a few changes to the face. Sometimes after a day of finishing a piece, I look at it again and feel something isnt right. Even after a short break, Im able to see it with fresh eyes. For the bg, I did three at a small size first then picked one to continue at a larger size. Much like when drawing my own characters, its good to draw the figure as a whole rough then continue to do passes until you have something you like. Files all zipped! Thank you for your support!
