The peculiarity of printing

Not everyone succeeds in printing the cassette.

I made the gap between the reel and the body 0.18mm. Usually in the slicer I set the value "wall width" to 0.3mm, layer height 0.15mm. This feature is due to the fact that I have several printers. I am guided by the one with a nozzle of 0.3 mm. As a result, this is not very convenient, since later you have to adjust the slicer parameters to the design. This is certainly not convenient for ordinary users.

A little bit of the creation process

When I do the design, there are a few iterations of prints. Is it normal.

I managed to make the cassette case about the 7th time.

I also tried to print with SBS. It is a bad idea to use it for thin hinges as it is flexible. But in combination, PLA is quite possible. I don't have much experience with SBS, so far it turns out a "dirty" print.

Toothpaste dispenser

This is my first design that has received a lot of attention and feedback.

A gnome named Steve, from the Gravity Falls TV show. Most of the time spent on painting it and making the video. Modeling didn't take long.
