Another preview of my creature

Idk how many wip posts for this I’ll make, but the background base is done. I am making myself use gouache since it’s a medium I have pretty much zero experience with (but tons with watercolor and acrylic) so wish me luck ^_^

The lady was finished in watercolor, except all the lines are gouache (first time using it)the big is ink 🤓

That creature I am thinking of turning into an open species.. not sure. It was fun to draw, and I’m thinking of doing more creature design.

The second pic is the initial, they liked all 3 so I wanted to transfer them to bristol to be finished. Unfortunately, it’s to thick to trace to LOL sooo I had to redraw them. I’ve started shading and I’ll share when I get to another stage 🤙

I decided no color. :) layered ink wash over the ballpoint pen, then went over in colored pencil and touched it up with a gelly roller. 

Ayla is a suthay-raht, or at least that's what I'd like her to be (we haven't gotten that choice since Morrowind) x3

The ballpoint pen is done. Now I'm not sure if I should just shade in values or do some color. Hmm..

2020- a year of revisiting and redoing old pieces

So the first picture is a picture of Dagny, before I decided to try and remake her- I think right before I started Patreon. The one on the right I drew 2 days ago, and I’d like to finish.

The second picture on the right is Dagny when she was known as Hisako, done in 2003 (still in hs at that point) in colored pencil. Then in the right is her when I first wanted to remake her but wasn’t sure of how I wanted her features to look, but I wanted to sort of update the original...

I’ve been sort of worrying about how larger pieces would turn out, and also how I would scan them considering my scanner is an older canon that can do 9x12 max and it actually had a hard time getting a good quality scan out of anything that isn’t in that range, though my scanner isn’t the worst either.
