CB 15 - Mantis Shrimp Update!

Got this over the weekend from 3dc! Looks like he has begun working on Mantis Shrimp, Mighty went wild with this design so I'm excited to see how this turns out!

ToQ Rainbow update!

wow, been working with zero a lot to figure out this monster and I think we have a solid idea, I now have the V1 Files in my hands and going to try and give it a test run, as it looks now we are going to attempt to have the back train be the "hinge" and back half of the helmet not sure if it's going to work or not! I promise I will keep you posted once I get this scaled and the main section and back train printed to test it!

Weekly Update - Huge Progress!

Weekly Update - Post COVID Struggles!

Hellloooooooo everyone! Hope you had a good weekend and ready for another, hopefully not long, week! We managed to get a decent amount done this weekend, I was trying to make up for doing nothing last week, was still a struggle!

Finally got this Cosmic Red Finished and honestly I really like how it turned out! The Revving Red Extreme Testors looks nice! I would have rather a Satin finish but the gloss was asked for. Slowly working my way out of the Ryusoulger hell.

ToQ Rainbow Update!

Whew boy! so zero and I got us this far and now we are currently trying to figure out how to make it wearable we beefed it up so I think it certainly more resembles to show suit and less the DX toy now. He used that for a lot of the reference which is understandable! Weekly Update - COVID

Helllloooo Everyone! I know it's late but it has been a struggle for over a week now! For those that don't know whole family came down with the covid, I think we are all finally on the mend but it for sure hampered progress this weekend. I did manage to drag my sickly frame out to work a little bit, it's not much!

Weekly Update - Hopefully I'm Not Getting Sick. . .

Hellllooooooooooooo Happy MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY! What a FUN, ENJOYABLE, PRODUCTIVE weekend it was! Minus ya know, the whole not spot puttying a single thing. . . but! First we Knocked out the kid size helmet for my buddy's son. It's not the best but it's fro a 5 year old and I had like 2 weeks to work on it I'll take it!

oh Toq8, you are so close yet so far! Sooooo all I really need to do is get some low grit and sand the epoxy sculpt I used to fix up the rail ties after we cut out the visor, I struggle with making these look good with the other ToQgers so it kinda derailed me (ha) but it's a priority this weekend!

it's been a hot minute since I've touched this as you can see with the dust! i'ma be honest the real reason is the visor but the plan this weekend is to make a tape template of it and see If it's possible to do by hand or if it will need formed. either way I will cut the visor area and move on with the paint!

ToQ Rainbow Helmet Update!

Here are some updated pictures! Zero is a mad lad at modeling! Been working on him to make ti wearable, He used the toy for a lot of the reference so we are now in the process of editing it to make it match the show helmet, mostly making it thicker in the bulk of it to accommodate a head. Looking great so far tho! Shouldn't bee too long until we get this in our possession!

Weekly Update - Stressful Weekend!

Helllloooooooooo Happy Monday! I'm super sorry for the lack luster weekend. Between my wife being sick, My daughter being sick, and just normal weekend things I feel like I got goose egg done! But We did manage to finish 3 and 1/2 helmets and should have a couple things ready to rock for next weekend. I have a ton of sanding both wet and dry I need to get done that is weighing heavy on my mind but we will get through it!

Weekly Update - Could It Stop Snowing Please

Hellloooooooo! Hope Everyone had a great weekend! Feel like I was extremely stretched thin with it being Wrestlemania weekend as well but we did manage to get a lot done! Super proud of the Kirmasilver helmet, minus that glue run on the top. . .grrrr but it gave me the confidence to go full boar with all the other kirmagers so expect them sooner than later!

I realize I've kinda been, I wouldn't say slacking just perhaps going about posting updates about the CB helmets progress wrong so ...
