After success of shorts....side with pretty cut holes ripped! It was too thin so I had to unsew front, make new side ( doubled to be sure "damaged" part won't be too fragile)! After that made loops for cord and tada! Just belt to do and attach :)
I always hate redoing what was already done, but it's always for the best :) also that's why it makes so long, cause I can't stop until I'm satisfied!

Finished the front bird! The back side is bigger, I can't begin to imagine how long it will take me.
The design is faithful to the references pictures.
My body is aching after 8 hours of this in the same position. Overall I spent 12 hours on this one part.

Shirt and bolero are done! Hakama need the tie and ironing and we are good there too! Waiting now for fabric for kimono and this samurai will be done on sewing side 💓

I drew the pattern for the cape design which I will have to sew all by hand after tracing it on the fabric. It's almost 1 am!

Just some progress of today with the butt cape 👌🏻 (we call it). Along with a fitting and proportion test with the pattern fabric. Still so much to do but the proportions of the patterns looks good!

I have been having a harsh 3 days trying to figure out a good way to make many of those beads in a productive way. I tried to copy one bead with two crosses and made the tip of those beads with Monster clay. But copying them involved putting a metal bar in the mold ( to put the cord in) and it was a real mess. In this direction, I tried 3 different ways but it failed.
So instead I went to the art shop, found some nice rings ( I didn't expect to find anything that would help me for the ...
We did a huge progress! Making a pattern is 50% of progress - you will know what fits you or what to change! Ready to apply to good fabric!
This pattern have no side line, but two lines more on front and back that will have top hand stitch!

We were lucky and found what we wanted for 110$. A big roll of nice looking synthetic black leather that we used for Noctis' jacket back in days. We couldn't believe they restocked it and we had to take it. As well as suedes and more color leather for the on going projects. 👌🏻

If you have some random stuff at home or in your cosplay materials stash that you don't use, you can use them to make shapes in your cosplay props. In that case I used useless beads, rings and coin case to help me making things more symmetrical.
If you don't have any but you need specific shapes, you can go to the dollar store and pick up shapes that could help you.

This small thing took longer than anticipated, cause of how delicate the leather is. I usually like to stiff fabric, but this time it had to be following my curves of waist and leg!
Officially, sewing and crafting part of Judith is done and only wig is left to do!
Tier with shirts ( Kingsglaives and up) will be getting theirs soon!
Hoodie and apron will be available later! :)

I personally don't like when wig has it's own hairline, I prefer making my own when I can! So had to change placement, cut sooooo much of hair for such a small wig!
Wigs with very specific cut are hard to make look natural on your head, but I think we made it work :)
As usual, it's Arda Wigs ( not sponsored, but we only use them as they have the biggest range of colors and best quality )
