Nekomancer - combat rework demo

Hello everyone~ please to present some new updates for the game!

As mentioned in my last dev log, I wanted to rework the combat system, as I felt it was lacking and not as engaging.

you where only able to fire in 4 directions, while enemies where able fire at you from any direction, that was a bit of a problem, so I decided to give the player full 360 directional fire, with point and clicking the mouse.

all main attacks work by right mouse button.

Catboi can roll~ The Nekomancer

I'm please to bring several small updates to the game~

Catboi can roll~

Avery can now dodge roll in any direction his facing, The roll is to add better mobility since I felt Avery was limited in his movement, he can now properly dodge projectiles rather then walking out of the way.  you can still take damage when hit while rolling, again, I may change this later depending on responses.

Gallery build - The Nekomancer

Please to finally release this build, it has the much needed Gallery system and the Save system, so you can now save your progress, and view the l3wd portrait animations within the gallery!

 when ever you l3wd enemies, you have to make sure to save, since in order to access the gallery you need to ESC to the title screen, losing your progress if you havnt saved.

Progress report - Gallery addition in next build

please to announce that a much needed feature will be added in the next build, 

The Gallery! you will be able playback all the portrait animation you collect during the game!

This feature was well over due, I'm glad I got to it now. 

along side this I also got a Save system built too, so you can save your progress, so you can return back where you left off, and also check up on the Portrait animations even ever you wish~

Fire Oni portrait and updates

wanted to show case the Fire Oni Portrait and talk about later updates/features. 

Next update is gonna include some much needed and essential features to this and any other l3wd game, a Gallery system and a save system, and most or all reported bugs will be fixed too.

The Gallery will have all portrait animations of each enemy you l3wd in game, as you progress you collect them all~ it will be a simple system where you click and watch, and control when to c00m~

New build! - The Nekomancer

After several months of hard work, I finally have a new build expanded build to show! lots of new features and small changes to the game!

Over the next few days I will be updating this build, for small things I wasn't able to get done, so stay tune, for now, you can expect:

Nekomancer - Big build update on the 4th

I am pleased to announce that the game will receive a big update on the 4th! compiling several months of work into one build, expanding the game to about, an hour of game play!

what you can expect in this build:

Update on world building - The Nekomancer

wanted to show my progress on the world building, so far I've gotten a few major plot locations finished, such as the village, the church, and ruin forest, I believe there is 3 or so locations left to make. hoping to finished them this week, but I might shift over to level design so I can tweak the tile sets and lay down playable rooms.

This game is really starting to take shape, and I'm enjoying it~

Nekomancer progress - world map and summon feature prototype

been crunching hard on the game in many aspects.

one being the summon feature, which is now completed, the two GIFs show the Fire Oni Femboi summon (with place holder art)

2022 plans - Nekomancer, BoiMilk, other games

Hello every one! its now 2022 new year, new plans and continuing old stuff, first I wanna thank every one for sticking with me and all the newbies~  

Moving forward, I have to decided to solidify my priorities, spending more time focusing on my games, specifically on Nekomancer, and unfortunately have push aside all other games (even thou I had not given any updates on those in a year) I will change my page to further reflect that.

Nekomancer Updates - New level

 I hope every one is having a lovely holiday and soon lovely new years! 

during these times I've slowed down production and been relaxing, but I still take abit of time to keep working on this lovely project of mine. 

This new update has several new things! 

-There is now a first semi small dungeon level.

-Traps, switches and obstacles

-In game cut scenes with dialogue between characters

In the up coming weeks, I will be releasing a major update, on the  23th~ it will include a scripted fist level, with small cut scenes, a few more enemies and mini boss, it will be a decent example of what the final game will be like!
