I'm so glad that I finally finished this build. It took way longer than expected but it was worth it. I drew from different styles of gothic architecture, mostly spanish gothic. And of course a bit of my own style, as always.

My next project will be released soon. I still need to make the video, but the build itself is more or less done. I'm really exited to share this one with you guys. I've spent a lot of time designing and building it and I'm very happy with the result. Hopefully I can get it done during the upcoming week.

Because of the time I had to put into the "Thinking Inside the Box" video essay, and august being pretty much reserved to work related projects, I haven't had time to make new builds. And I have to say.. I really miss it. I do like to provide you guys with tutorials and seeing how happy dedicated builders are when I release new episodes, brings me joy. But nothing compares to the joy of designing something new and creating a narrative around it, where I obsess with every little detail.

I finally finished my video about my approach to building. It took quite a while to make, especially since it's my first video with voice recording. Oh boy, hopefully I will learn to do it more efficiently and have my recordings be more consistent. But all in all, I think the video turned out well and it could be interesting to do more of these videos, but maybe have them be more focused on one particular subject. I thought this video was a good place to start.

After making the tutorial series I've wanted to release an updated version of the build, based on the castle I made in the tutorials. I did a lot of minor improvements during the series, especially to the pagoda, and later I also made some extra changes to the Tenshu's (Main Castle) rooftops. I've also built the basement floor inside the foundation, ready to be furnished. I've decided to release it to all Patreon tiers. Enjoy!

My latest build is out. This one was a collaboration with Michael Ghelfi Studios. A YouTube channel that makes fantasy music and ambient tracks. All the songs and the ambient tracks in the video are from their channel.

While I've been working on The Arch Tower tutorial series, I've also worked on a new project at the location shown in the image. What build would you like to see a tutorial series for next?
My other builds like The Monastery and my survival world builds (Bath Tower, Coal Tower, Survival Base, Golden Mill etc.) are very context specific, which makes them a bit tricky to turn into tutorials. However, if there's a demand for it I could make tutorials for the individual buildings and how to build them into new worlds. Maybe I can post seeds that'll work particulaly well for a given build, when update 1.20 is released...

Here's a teaser of my next project. I'm doing this one by creating the tutorial and timelapse in one go, like I did with The Bath House and SixWings Windmill. It takes more time building it that way, but it also saves time in the end. I'm really excited for this one!

I'm considering a tutorial series for The Sanctum but since the build is so enormous it will inevitably be a long series, so I made a smaller version to see if it would make sense to start with that one first.
