So, here's what I'm thinking for the new characters in Episode 2: two Scottish clans of birds: one living in the trees and one living on the ground, the tree birds wear kilts with a vertical tartan pattern and the ground birds have a horizontal pattern. Cultural Appropriation and other issues

So, for Lunar Episode 2 I have always planned to introduce 6 new characters: birds. 

I wanted them to be a "vaguely tribal" culture so I could explore what would happen if a reasonably advanced race such as those in the Lunar game came across a relatively primitive race. I am sure something interesting would happen, but I haven't written it yet.

Feedback Wanted

It doesn't feel that long since I embarked on this Patreon journey. Early Pink Concept Art

Jonas tells me he'll be finished with the coloured sprites for Pink this weekend. While we're waiting, I hope you will enjoy this very original concept art for him from my friend Gelidien. 

Geli has a very distinctive style and loves working on costumes and armour, also, I hope you'll notice how the armour for pink has evolved from the earliest concept!

Weaponised cuteness

When working through the concept art for Pink with Jonas, I realised so many of his sprites were annoyed or angry looking. I was worried he wouldn't be able to look adorable, so I asked Jonas to draw him looking cute. I needn't have worried.

What is it about a rabbit's ears?

I love pink: the rabbit character in the game. He has such an interesting back story but he also appeals to me personally. I have always been attracted to short guys: here's one you could lift with one arm.

Merry Christmas

Another year rolls around. I have given the art team a bit of a break this month, but White (the polar bear) insisted it would be a shame if we didn't celebrate Christmas with a little cheer. Black (the house cat) didn't agree, but it doesn't look like he had much choice but to join in the festivities.

0.18 What in tarnation?

Thank you to my beautiful patrons. Another month has passed and the focus has been on sketches for the game. Here is my favourite: yellow disrobed. Jonas has been working tirelessly to produce 7 new sprites for Yellow, 6 for Pink, and 5 for Violet! 

I am planning on giving the artists a break over Christmas and so I plan to disable payments for December. I will still be working on the game though, so you can expect updates over that time :3

Wagner finished the art for the title sequence with Red from the bottom. It's an awkward angle, but I wanted to get a sense of the camera panning at the foot of the bed. Also, I thought those of you who like paws might be interested in seeing this perspective ;3
