Patreon Vlog 21 - Britain and Cheese
I've been backing up all my old photos (and let me tell you, there are a lot) and I found this.
I took this in 2009.
10 years ago, this photo has sat on my computer.
Waiting for its moment.
Enjoy this pug, just like he enjoyed being pulled around in this cart.

When you hike in Canada, you need the proper kit:
- heavy duty boots
- a long insulated coat
- gloves (I prefer the ones that you can poke your fingers out when you want to and hide them when you need to)
- scarf tucked inside your coat
- both a large hood and an obnoxiously large furry hat (ear flaps are ideal)
Then you just need a frozen waterfall to stand in front of!

I said it before and I'll say it again: I loved Copenhagen. I can imagine their winters are intense, but the summer was beautiful! It was clean, the architecture was beautiful and the locals were incredibly laid back.

I visited Paris during two fairly big parts in my life - once at 17 and again at 21 (pictured)! (I also miss seeing the sun and being tan!!)
At 17, I was still in high school and it was my first trip to Europe. That trip was a big eye-opener that there was more in the world than I could ever imagine.
I returned to Paris at 21 and my life was already pretty different. I had thought about moving for a long time, and it was this trip that I decided to jump in and move to England the ...

Prague was beautiful! Sunny, warm and chill. I remember ordering a literal wooden board covered in the best meat I've ever had - sausage and ribs and things I didn't quite know what they were. Beautiful!!

I love going to the cinema (especially in England where you guys can book your seat, what a wonderful invention!)
I recently saw Mary Queen of Scots - anyone see it yet? I thought overall is was OK, but the two leading women were incredible. Everything else was just alright...

Say what you will, I've always enjoyed my trips to Paris. There's something special about setting up a blanket on the grass, enjoying some cheese, bread and wine in the sun in the view of the Parisian architecture.

It wouldn't be a holiday unless you get violently ill! My friend and I were so ill in Switzerland that I can't even remember what village this was in - but we did hike behind a waterfall and subsequently slept for 14 hours afterwards.
Otherwise, Switzerland was beautiful!

Everyone talks about Rome and Milan and Venice.. but I think Florence was my favourite. Bit quieter, bit less busy, but all the charm and history of other Italian cities. I was only here very briefly but would love to go back and spend some proper time there. Also - the gelato. Oh my god.

Although it was 204343C in the middle of summer, I really loved Rome. It's hard to believe that every corner and alley is overloaded with history. Like Venice, I would definitely recommend visiting in autumn, when all the summer travellers are gone and the heat is a bit more comfortable. If you have to go in the summer (like I did) just expect it to be hot and busy. Still worth it! Would go back in a heartbeat.

St. Peter's Square in Vatican City was a bit overwhelming... I'm not a religious person, but damn they certainly get architecture done properly!
If you can visit - please do. A special place with so much history!
If you're hoping to tour this area (and the famous Sistine Chapel) I would definitely suggest buying a fast-track ticket when possible - the queues are unbelievable but it's worth seeing.

Another stop on my trip was Austria. I'd love to visit Vienna, but unfortunately that wasn't part of this trip (maybe next time)!
Instead we went through the countryside and wound up in a small village that I honestly can't remember the name of it. It was here that I went paragliding here off one of the mountains (I posted those photos on Instagram awhile back)
This day, however, was for exploring and hiking. I will never get over the views here, the photos really don'...

As part of my old trip throwback, I visited Venice. Now maybe because it was peak time in the summer and it was a solid 90C, but I was really disappointed with Venice!
I'm glad I went - the canals are incredible and unique - but the city as a whole was meh. It was crowded, sweaty, smelly and dirty.
Maybe if I had the money, I'd go back during the autumn instead. But otherwise, Venice is one of the those cities that didn't live up to the image in my mind. Oh well!

I did a big trip a few years ago and was just going through the photos - thought it might be fun to share them with you guys!
This one is Berlin, obviously, and I genuinely really loved the city. The museums were incredible, the architecture is really interesting and the city as a whole felt really trendy and different. Plus the foooooood!

Style tip - I always take photos when I'm trying to decide on something (in this case, a new coat) I ended up finding my lovingly perfect coat at Uniqlo, but not before trying on a million coats all over Bluewater. It's hard to remember what they look like, so I take pics to compare. This particular trip resulted in 8 different coats - and 8 different photos!
This one makes me laugh because it looks like a woman who killed her husband and is faking surprise when the cops show up. It mig...

Youtube has been both a blessing and a curse...
I usually read through my YT comments - I like to read what you guys think, plus I try to delete some of the really awful stuff. I know it "shouldn't matter" and it can be time-consuming, but I don't like the idea of hate/racism/etc building on something I've created, you know? So I tend to delete the absolute worst and leave the rest.
This one came through and dang!
Unfortunately this is not a rare occurrence, it happens most days. I...

I've just started the second season and would definitely recommend it! Not for the faint of heart, obviously, but great stuff so far.
What are you guys watching??
