Sometimes I see things and save them for a later concept, which explains why my house is a disaster. Haha. Artist saving things for the right time. Can you relate? (This sticker originally said ALLPARTS, which is a company name.) As soon as I saw this sticker my brain started chopping it up to see what else it could say. Thus, this labeling concept emerged.

I've always wanted to hide myself in things and be part of things for fine art, so that's what's coming up from my shoot with James Ellingen.

Prismatic - Wow!

This was the wow magic moment of this shoot with mv_photog. We discovered that the chandelier in one of the rooms was throwing rainbows on the wall. So, I jumped in amongst the rainbows and we played and experimented as the light shifted. We were so excited to capture these.

Something a little different from me...

I know I don't normally pose like to post here or for art photos. I was not pressured to. I just felt like it in the moment. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don't. I don't think it makes it less artsy and more porny to pose like this. It's just not an aesthetic I usually go for, because I think some viewers only focus on one area of the photo when a woman is posed like this and don't look at the photo as a whole or lead your eye around the photo like it should in good art. Your eye just gets stuc...

Curiosity Killed the Cat written by me

(Bonus day in February, yay! And, the last of my writings that I've written for a third possible book. But, at least you guys get to read them in case I don't make another book. Thanks for enjoying them.)

My neighbor needed somewhere to stay for the weekend while his apartment was having some maintenance done to it. We were friends, but not "friends"... more on the friendly acquaintance level. I invited him to sleep on the couch after hearing he had no where else to go. I wasn't worried...

I got tired of waiting for a date, so I posted on Facebook "Looking to date, serious inquiries only, want to continue living in area for business reasons, gender irrelevant". People flocked to the book store/coffee shop I worked at and snuck glances at me. I knew they were there checking me out because they were not "regulars" and because the book store got 3 times busier than usual. All of the non-regulars were sneaking glances and trying to chat me up instead of browse books. Getting tired ...

Bonus post: Hike today

I took a million photos of these ducks (including a blind one!) and had trouble weeding them down farther, so that's why there are so many. Some day I'll weed them more. Or if you see one or two you love more than the others you can let me know. Sometimes I find choosing so hard. I like many photos for different reasons. And, then I find other people like different ones than you like, so I try to be lenient on weeding.
