James Ellingen - Shapes on a Desk

Last year James Ellingen traveled through my area and we were able to get together and create some magical art for you guys. I've been saving them so you'd have some great stuff for Valentine's month and to combat your winter depression. :) 

This was an empty house we were able to rent before it got converted to other uses. I do not have future access to it, unfortunately. But, I'm so grateful I got access to it for this day.

Starting a new shoot...

Back in August of last year I rented shoot space at Proparazzi in Lancaster and offered myself for rent for a block of shoot time. I was testing to see how I would do with a back to back shoot, energy wise, to see how the travel models do it, and to hopefully get a chance to work with some new photographers. And, it worked. There are a few in here I really love. And, of course whenever I can wear rainbow and walk a fake runway, it's a good day. If you only knew how many times I had to walk over and over to get one natural looking shot. SO many pics.

I know they all look similar, but there was like 50 of them so I got them weeded down this much, at least! I love this dress and wore it to an art function once, but it's definitely a wardrobe malfunction situation. My ta tas want out of it!

Grass Lounging

Okay, this is an example of what having light colored eyes and trying to model in the sunlight is like. It burns my blue eyes so much and makes them water, which makes makeup difficult, and posing with my eyes open in sunlight difficult. Some photographers understand this is going to happen and have given me tips over the years (or just shoot in shade). I've learned if they count down and I pop my eyes open, they snap the photo, then I close them again, that can work. It's tricky business. Ju...
