This is probably my favorite self-portrait I've shot. The vintage feel, the blurring at the bottom like a film camera, the white patent kitten heels, the way I look tan, the hint of p**** lip showing, the back dimples.... I felt like I knocked this one out of the park.
Also, today is my 45th birthday, so YOU get a present. I'm gonna post twice today. lol

I don't remember how or why I created this image, but I've used it in multiple places and in multiple ways. I had a color version, too. I had it printed on gallery wrapped canvas and sold at art festivals. I think it's generic enough to be useful for all kinds of things.

When I first started creating self-portraits, I was messing around and my old cat Tiger photobombed me. I was enthralled with this photo, though, and still am. My shiny toenails, my hands, the curve of my waist and peak of boob, the contrast of smooth me and hairy cat, everything covered making it social media safe, but kinda not. I thought it was perfect.

This was a self-portrait I took in my basement (and my basement still looks like this). I wanted a voyeuristic aspect to it.
