I took pictures for you while at stop lights on my way home from my shoot on Monday (which was an hour+ away). I think they're showing up in reserve order that I took them, but who cares.

I know a couple of these are blurry or have a blur to them, but I wish they didn't, so I saved them anyway. Also, got tired of trying to weed them down, so this is the best (fewest) I can get right now. My body is finally getting curvy enough to look appropriate in these vintage kinds of photos.

Or just Spring if you celebrate something else. :) I want to get back to doing cute little themed self portraits. Ideally, I'd like to use my good camera but my cell phone is easier if time is limited. I can shoot them, edit them, and post them right from my phone. You know I usually don't edit much and try to shoot them decent when I'm shooting, but I did edit these slightly just to practice and get in the habit of it.

Overhead lights in a barn

I was standing talking to Dave L. between sets. He was sitting on a couch that the skeleton was sitting on. And, he said "oh yeah, right there, start posing". So, I guess he liked this light. I do, too. Interesting.

Morning stripes

Warmer temps and moving past grief leaves me more open to taking more of the kinds of self portraits I hope to take for you guys. Getting ready for work and noticed the sunlight in the bathroom was fun. New mint green cotton panties. Shower wet hair. This is me.

Another natural light test set at Studio 8 in Columbus with Ggreyphoto. I like the down the wall angle. He also gave me this lingerie set. He has a bin of new lingerie and once a model wears it, he gives it to them, which seems way less skeevy to me than when I have to give it back already worn for a photographer to wash or do who knows what with. He said some models won't wear used lingerie even if the photographer says it's washed. I guess that makes sense to me, but I usually don't think o...

Steam Punk!!! With Atmosphoto1

We shot these last Fall on a SUPER cold day. This shoot took several months of planning and then we finally pulled it together. Most of the accessories are his. The gun I got at a thrift sale for $5 bucks. The wedding dress was a swap with model Afterlysunflower at a shoot we were at together. I forget what I gave her, but she's like "here take this dress". That is one of the good things about shooting with other photographers and models... everyone wants to keep their wardrobe and props fres...

PC: Ggreyphoto. (His new studio opened on the 25th of this month.) I did actually try to curl my hair for this shoot, but it was raining and humid. But, it has a little more wave and shape to it than normal.

Got a few more edits back from a shoot in July 2020 during the height of Covid when everything had to be outside and 6 feet apart. :) Photographer is my friend, but also anonymous. Still, he will likely see your comments and likes. :) Do you have a preference on the black and white or the color?
