We knew we had similar robes and similar cat ears, so I packed mine to visit her house for the shoot. Her house cats joining the party added extra fun to our theme. (The robe was a gift from her she mailed to my house months earlier. It really picked me up when I was feeling down from Covid.) This is her actual bedroom. :)

Cowgirl Graffiti

Dave Levingston asked me (us - Ellen and I) to bring daisy duke cut offs, a flannel top, and a cowboy hat as an outfit/theme. I don't wear stuff like that in real life. So, I had to buy these cut offs at a thrift store and my friend loaned me the top and hat (who is an actual country cowgirl). The pics came out pretty good.

Mature Women Studio Portraits - Part 2

These are not me, obviously, but I wanted you to see how we each interpreted the instructions to do whatever we wanted to interpret simple fine art portrait poses in a big open empty space with blank gray background. It's hard to pose with nothing as a prop or to sit or stand or lay on. But, I think we both did great and the photographer's skill surely helped.

Wired Up

This was James' idea. He brought the wire. This set isn't too intense, but the next set of these gets kind of intense. To put the kinks in the wire and tighten it he had to use pliers and he pinched my tit on accident with them. It didn't hurt that bad, but I said ow. He almost had a break down he felt so bad and apologized over and over again. He was sweating. haha.

Vintage Truck Pinups

Peel apart film. Ellen and Dave Levingston. She's really good at pointing her toes and using her feet. I might need to work on that. Last year I was trying to use my hands more. I guess it's all about the subtle details and hands and feet can add a lot. Gotta keep working to get better and better as a model.

The first two are shots she wanted to try. The third was my idea. I wanted to get rid of our heads so the bodies could be viewed as something other than a body, perhaps. Do you see them as something else if you close your eyes halfway?

Coconut oil

James (Ellingen) legit whipped a can of spray coconut oil (like you'd spray in a pan to cook in) out of his backpack and came at me with it spraying it on my body. lol

This is right after I had Covid, so my body was pretty skinny and tight and hot and sexy. The oil just helped even more.

Pioneer Women on the Frontier

This is a set up at Proparazzi. It's in their front yard, so clothes are somewhat necessary. But, they also just add to the look. This is more expired peel apart film and then the actual photos scanned into a computer. The first photo was a test and overexposed. He also didn't like the lines in the photos, so he took the camera apart and cleaned the rollers either at that point or after we shot this pack of film. I like lines and imperfections. I think that's what makes them artistically uniq...

The first shot is one that she wanted to try, except our bodies weren't exactly in the right proportions to do what was in the example photo. Ideally her butt would have fit in the curve of my waist. I don't love the foreshortening from my knees to my feet, but overall, they liked that photo. The others were impromptu spur of the moment shots. I love them.

We are on a paper backdrop that rolled from the ceiling down under us so no crease is showing. And, there is a light off to the left...
