Figure Drawings - Bonus Post

I thought it might be fun just to share what I've been doing the last 6 weeks on Wednesdays. Today was the final class, and these drawings are from tonight. These do not belong to me. They belong to the artists who created them. I just asked to take photos of them to share. These artists have gotten so much better over time. Doing something over and over really makes you improve, no matter what it is.... including your photography! Stick with it. Do more. Keep going.

I got good news and bad news. I finally downloaded the Olympus app and made my phone connect to my new camera to use the remote shutter release. So, I asked my friend - who is generally listed as "anonymous" on here and social media  who I've been shooting with for years - if he wanted to try some of my concepts for a trade shoot instead of the concepts he is working on/ things he wanted to practice. I was looking for something today in my files and stumbled upon these in a sub folder. They were taken by a photographer named Galder who no longer shoots. This is the 6th floor ballroom of the Masonic Temple building in Zanesville that burned down in January. My studio was on the 5th floor. Those curtains were divine and you can see Zanesville in the windows beyond. The piano was always up there on the small stage. Weird Experiment

Okay, so this morning I wondered what my boobs looked like in various positions, so I took pics laying down on my back from above and then slowly started to come up and took pics in each position until I was taking pics from below. They look so different! Also.... I can see why men want women to get on top and bend over them. HAHAHA The last pic of me squishing them together with my arms and making cleavage is just for fun.

I know, not the normal excitement around here, but sometimes I like to throw them in to share and because I shoot other things, too. Maybe shows I'm a real person and helps connect with me more? And, if you're not from my area, maybe you'll appreciate seeing what it's like around here. Also, I bought an Olympus Tough and it will be here Tuesday. I don't know yet how that will affect my self portraits, but it is good for macro shots, so maybe that will be interesting! :)
