My most satisfying shot of the year.

I worked SO hard to get this shot. I tried it earlier in the day, but the light was making over exposed hot spots on my body, so I had to come back to it later. I learned how to turn the head of my tripod sideways. Normally I just leave it landscape orientation for self portraits and sometimes just set the camera anywhere, not even on a tripod. But, I thought the portrait orientation would be just right for this and I wanted to get it just right. I learned several different levels on the trip...

Hair....

I shaved all my hair the beginning of November, except the front, which I trimmed close with scissors. This is what it looks like now. I was initially trying to make it like a big afro with the hair on my thighs, too, but I'm not sure it's gonna translate. I don't think my leg hair will grow as long as my front hair. (Sorry I have to talk in code, because they flag certain words. haha).  Do you think I should let the leg hair on the sides keep growing or trim up the bikini line like it u...

Pony got a new shiny red rope halter

PC: Geos_Eyes2 (and rope work) We tried a different take on the theme with the pony play fetish and the rope bondage/shibari fetish combined! Fun fact: They consider this bridle bit a "g a g" and remove photos of it off of IG and FB. Another fun fact: I just found out I can't say g a g on here, either, or it flags my post for removal. Sigh. Enjoy while we can still enjoy these things in life. lol

I shot these in 2016 as a product advertisement shoot. She gave me permission last night to share them. The chainmaille artist is Gray Wolfe's Chainmaille who is our mutual friend, and has done any of the chainmaille/scale maille you've seen in any pics of me wearing it. Green Teddy

Okay, so I had a plan for this shot (which I nailed later on in my shoot), but it's not translating here, because the light was hot and strong and creating hot spots on my body, uneven lighting. So, I abandoned this location and came back to it later in the day. I just wanted to share this for learning purposes as an example of uneven lighting created by dappled sunlight. Too bright/overblown gets rid of needed shadows and being able to see much texture and color on skin.

Fall 2021 Self Portrait Photo Shoot

I spent an entire afternoon running around nude at my friend's house trying out different things self-portrait wise. I've been saving the pics for you. I did learn quite a bit, including some features of my tripod! Keep in mind my particular camera does not have a remote trigger, so I have 10 seconds to think of a pose and get into it, once I push the shutter. My plan for this entire shoot was not to show my face. I feel like I bank on my face and the front of me a lot, especially in selfies ...

In this set, the photographer (Geos_Eye2) is acting as my handler and adding a POV interactive element to the photos with his participation and hand cameos in it. I think they look great considering the close distance he had to be from me to hold the reins and riding crop, make them look appropriate, and get clear shots. Interested to hear your thoughts.
