Fashion show selfies upcoming this month in my new lingerie. Thanks to people who bought it. I feel in a really good place with my lingerie shoot wardrobe now and it was all $10 or less and easy to put on! (If it's complicated I don't want to wear it or bring it to wear in a shoot.) Pink Christmas
Woke up and the power went out for 5 hours. Now there's a water line break. Seems appropriate for 2020, though, somehow. I feel bad for those working out in 16 degree weather (and now dark). I hope you all are staying warm or these will warm you up, if not.

Merry Christmas part 2 - I'm the present....
And, this is the last of shoots I've done with Mike Thorne. Sadly, he doesn't shoot anymore. Which is sad because we had great chemistry and created some wonderful concepts now that I've been looking back on them. I'm glad with some age and wisdom I've started to appreciate photos as soon as I create them and not hide them away for years picking apart everything I think I did wrong in them. I've only done one Christmas shoot in my life, mostly because I don't shoot year round or when it's cold that much. Here's one half of it. (I did just shoot myself under the tree today in some new lingerie, so I might share bits of that, too, soon.) FYI - lights on your skin get real hot real fast. If you're a photographer, take note of that, too, when shooting people.

Dave Levingston. Btw, I include out takes sometimes on purpose just so you can get a feel for what behind the scenes is like at photo shoots and so you can see the difference between real life and what an image can portray. I'm happy looking back through these photos. I enjoy the second one here. I feel like I'd want to get on the couch with the girl and snuggle hold her and warm up her thin body with my body heat.

I think I take so many photos of myself to work out lighting and understand my body and face and how I look best and how I don't. And, just to understand photography.... maybe what evokes a feeling and what is dead feeling. The more you do of something the better you get at it.
