Self Portrait a Day

I've decided to take one self portrait a day. (I do differentiate self portraits from selfies (which I'll probably keep taking a lot of, too, as usual).) To me, self portraits are about adding creative elements, lighting, concepts, trying to take something new or make something new, make one think or basically in some way make the photo a little more artistic or push myself a little. A selfie captures a memory or moment in time, or even an emotion.

Lusty Attack Bug

I've been wanting to experiment with this bug for quite a while. I liked the light coming in the bedroom this morning. Give me other ideas to do with him? Might be cool outside with real greenery around me, too. If you don't like this, I'm sorry, but have you met me? You should know I do weird things sometimes just to see how I feel about them and make myself and others think.

R.I.P. Martin Class

I, unfortunately, just learned of the passing of a brilliant photographer who was the first one I ever shot with. He hung himself. :( I just wanted to share a few photos he shot to show my respect. I really did learn so much from him about angles and unique creativity within fine art fetish photography. Hope he's feeling better in his current energy plane resting before reincarnation.

Andddd, he gave me a prop. I'm not sure I'm good at pin up posing or props. I'm better nude. But, hey, it was fun trying. I was thinking to get through all of the 2nd James Ellingen shoot (for $10) and all of this shoot by the end of the month so we can move on to even more. Not sure if it will happen, but close! That's why some days there are multiple posts per day.

Some of my favorite photos in this set. He always made me so beautiful. I wonder if the photographer sees the model as beautiful that translates in the photo? Or maybe just the chemistry a model and photographer are able to make together?

Polaroid Perk!

Yo yo yo. I do have at least one 10 pack (but I think I have two of them) film that goes with my Polaroid Instant camera. I was thinking of taking some photos to mail to you guys, but obviously I can't be in the same space as any photographers right now to ask them to take the photos for me at the end of a shoot to get full body photos. I was thinking of experimenting with them taking them myself selfie style. There's no 10 second delay timer on them. I have to have my finger on the camera. S...
