I kinda think the soft edit really works on these ones. What do you think? Which image is your favorite of this set? It's so hard for me to choose because I appreciate different things in all of them, so I asked for a lot of edits on this one. Would love your feedback. I need one printed really big! I post smaller sets of photos on purpose.... so you can really spend time looking and enjoying the nuances of each photo. I think if too many are posted at once, you look at them as a whole body of work and don't look at each photo as much to appreciate it for what it is. Kind of like when you have a whole bag of m&ms you just stuff them in your face, versus if you only had 10 m&ms left on earth and had to enjoy and be mindful about each one you put in your mouth to suck and nibble on...

This is actually the property where I do a lot of my professional shoots, at least the first time I meet a photographer, so that I have safe escorts with me (since it's their property). That's why there's a wooden sign with my name spray painted on it. They kindly tack it to the mailbox post so photographers can find me. They are really good people. If you know them, you know.

This set and the next couple of sets after it, I told Matt I wanted to try some photos with him that leaned more towards fine art nude or could be hanging in a gallery than boudoir or pretty/hot style. These are what I consider self portraits, mostly my concept, wardrobe, accessories, etc. But, instead of setting up my tripod and doing the self timer, I had my friend shoot them. So, they may not necessarily be framed the way I would have framed them, etc., but that is not always a bad thing! It's good to see through other people's eyes. Let's get this party started! I still have more of Peggy and I to post from last summer, so I'll kinda go back and forth to keep things fresh. So, with this shoot Julz and I were running a little story line.... friends getting ready to go out and helping each other get ready to go out.... then helping each other get ready for a bath/shower.... then in the shower together. Dancer like poses and "dot in a landscape" nudes. That's what Dave Levingston told me he calls his artwork. Like there's a nude there, but the focus is the overall image and location, enhanced by a nude.
