The characters and extra background elements (papers, desk, flags, map) are all on their own layer. They'll be spaced out more in the horizontal version!
The work flow for our projects is currently like this: I write it, then do the animatic and animation, then do lineart and some establishing backgrounds (like the 2 I've posted so far), then pass the file to Ed to do the rest of the backgrounds and coloring while I get the next project started!
