Special surprises are kind of my thing. At least when it comes to hunting for antique furniture. For the longest time now our son has wanted a real toy box, or treasure chest as one may call it, for his toys. Being the thrifty shopper and anti new furniture type person I am, I went searching for pieces I could refinish and repurpose for this special surprise for my son! Gone are the days of stepping on Beyblades and Legos. 🤙

ok... so this project is coming along a lot quicker than expected. This NEVER happens! It is usually the opposite and several things get in the way of us completing a project! Our mantel is ready for installation but we are still waiting on our brackets to arrive. Once they do, this baby is gonna go up in a hot second! I can already feel the coziness in the room with our family photos having a new home!
