I wanted to do something a little different with the angle of this image, and overall lightning and well .. I wanted to give her a ver sexy/dominant pose. =D

Hey everyone, Tharja is finally finished!

I have to say I'm really liking to paint the background directly in colors. While I still prefer to control skin tones and details in values then colors, I think it's quite interesting to paint the background directly on colors.

I know it's a little late in the month but I finished in time! I didn't want to rush the image and end up doing something with less quality than what I wanted, so I took my time to detail it as much as possible.

I wanted to do this image in a slightly different style (more stylized and less realistic) with an exagerated perspective and very vibrant colors because I thought it would be fitting for the theme.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the gap between the posts. I wanted to make sure I could deliver a drawing/scene like that before giving a preview (and having to cut the image later on) on what is the next drawing.

I always liked those scenes from League of Legends pool party splash arts, so I wanted to make something similar for overwatch.

Yes, the perspective is a little bit "forced" and stylized, but it's intentional. The "correct" perspective just didn't deliver the dynamic I wanted ...

Hey everyone, finished Jaina!

I wanted to create a more dynamic scene with a few different planes of depth so I gave a different technique a try to see how it goes.

Basically I started with a very loose sketch of what I wanted from the scene, then I blocked the basic shapes of the ship in 3d and used that as reference to draw the lineart (which was the one that I posted earlier this week).

Summer!

Hey everyone! Long time since I painted a portrait, so Iris is back to help us with that!

It's been quite some time that I've been wanting to paint an image with vibrant colors, saturated skin and a lot of contrast.

And it's quite some time that I don't go nuts in skin detailing, texture and all those little microscopic areas that you have to increase the size of the image to see lol

There's isn't a lot going on in the image, I just wanted to paint something pretty, so I hop...

I was greatly inspired by Adam Hughes version, since I simply love the smiley-pin-up style he gives her. So it's a small way to pay homage to an artist that I admire =)

Hey everyone! It's time for a new pin-up, Sarah!

I wanted to give a certain "Comic" vibe to this one in terms of color palette and sharpness , so I picked the scene where she was shot and has to take the witchblade to you know .. survive... and proceed to kill a bunch of people =D 

So with this image I wanted to recreate that scene, with a mix of shock and pain as the gauntlet proceeds to envelop her body with the armor.

Hey everyone! It was a tricky choice of what idea to follow for this character. In the end I wanted to show one of the initial scenes of her contact with Witchblade, where she basically has to choose between staying alive or ... dying =D

So yeah, there will be a bit of blood/wounds on this one (nothing too extreme) and I also wanted to explore some different angles to the scene, so an down-up angle sounded interesting to show the gauntlet kinda "clawing up" across her arm and body.

The Banshee Queen

Ok, at this point I think it's no secret that Sylvanas is my favourite warcraft character =D.

When I had the idea for this image, I was really happy that they announced the Windrunners comic 1-2 days later, so the whole image made a lot more sense lol

Since it was a very particular detail of the character, I wasn't sure everyone would get what the necklace is and what meant to the character. 

Enough to say I loved working on this image and I'm really happy with how it turn...

I wanted to show a more conflicted version of her, even though she's the badass leader, I think the issues she has with her sisters (you know, being alive and not on the same side as her) can add a lot of depth to the character, instead of just being a cold leader.

So I like to think she still keeps a small token of her past. =)
