Power Corrupts: Goddess of Luck (ch.31)

I'm not happy with this chapter at all. Had to fight through a bad case of writer's block and I think it shows.  I'll be reworking portions of the chapter, but I would appreciate some feedback on what works and what doesn't. Sorry that its not up to the usual standard.

....

Riverwood was bigger than it was in the game and, more noticeably, it had a wall around it. A wood palisade that marked the border of the village. Smoke drifted upward from chimneys to ward off the c...

Power Corrupts: New Beginnings (ch.29)

I found myself in a familiar white void, only this time things were a bit different. Instead of wearing a party outfit and carrying arms full of food that I had looted from a house party to feed me for the foreseeable future, I was covered in burnt, bloodstained clothing, reeking of smoke and peaches. I wasn’t here because I died a random death, but because I was victorious despite all the odds stacked against me.

Congratulations! You have greatly exceeded expectations. ...

Monthly Prompt #5: I'd like to see the manager

Pamela Isley looked around at the generic lobby for a moment, taking it all in. It was hard to believe that this place served as the home for the self-proclaimed owner of Earth. From what she heard about him, she half expected to see stuffed corpses of animals, or for it to be a hut in the middle of the wilderness. Instead, it was a generic lobby that wouldn’t look out of place in any bank in America.

As her gaze roamed the interior, they landed on a plain-looking girl who was t...

Going Native: Touch of Pain (ch.33)

“Your half is bigger,” Elery pointed out, pointing at my third of a creature that smelled like it was going to taste delicious. I looked over at her third to see that it was the exact same size as mine. Just as both of ours were the same exact size as Kakarot, who was already chowing down on his, so they were the same size. I knew that because I was forced to carefully cut the beast up into equal thirds under Elery’s watchful eye, else she would accuse me of taking the biggest piece for...

“Do you think we can win?” I asked, turning to Vegeta. King Vegeta-...Dad only had so much time that he could spare us. Perhaps unsurprisingly, over three million saiyan children were proving to be handfuls. Which left me and Vegeta along to digest all that we had learned. It was nearing dusk as we stood at the top of the palace, my feet dangling off the edge of a spire that had a convenient ring around it to serve as a seat.

Both of us looked out at the sunset, the sky darken...

Power Corrupts: Small Goodbyes (ch.28)

I dropped the mangled corpse of Zanis and took in a deep breath of air, the smell of blood so thick in the small room that I could practically taste it. Whoever said that vengeance was unfulfilling was an idiot. Satisfaction filled me as I leaned over, picking up the sword that Zanis dropped before I tore his spine out, and approached the door. The castle was filled with the sounds of chaos -- Soma members left outside hacked at the doors downstairs to get back in, some were gathering up and ...

Poll Results

So, after a day the results are in. They are the following:

Biggest Tipper: 10% voted yes and 90% voted no.

Bigger Tipper: 6% voted yes and 94% voted no.

Big Tipper: 24% voted yes and 76% voted no.

Tipper: 26% voted yes and 74% voted no.

So, by a landslide victory, Neo will be staying in the story. The people have spoken. That being said, I have taken the negative feedback into account because I noticed a common trend with it -- the main issue people ...

Be a Dragon Poll: Should Neo be replaced?

There has been some controversy about Neo and her place in Be a Dragon. I personally think she's what the story needs, but if so many people are upset then there's probably a reason for it. So, this poll determines if Neo should be replaced with another girl or if it's just a vocal minority.

However, just to be clear, if the poll does vote yes and most of you want her replaced, then Be a Dragon will be put on a brief hiatus while I rewrite things and rework some plot elements. Also, if ...

Be a Dragon: Learning Lessons (ch.11)

There has been a few changes to chapter 9. Neo nearly drowns Adonis in lube rather than shoving anything in him, which slightly changed the interaction with the teen titans. Nothing too much, only Neo stealing the money is the reason for conflict.

"Is that home?" Elery asked, jabbing a finger in the direction of Planet Vegeta. It might have been about six years since I’ve last seen it, but I still recalled what it looked like with ease. It hadn’t changed at all during the last six years -- the same lush green colors, the oceans were a cyan blue, the clouds swirled in violent patterns that hinted at multiple storms raging on the surface.

In the past six years, I’ve been on hundreds of planets by now, but Planet Vegeta ...

This was a date. I was almost completely certain of it. If it was some kind of emergency or urgent revelation about the origin of my powers, then she would have left more than one text, or set up the meeting someplace other than an admittedly good coffee shop. All the signs pointed to this being a date. Except for two things.

Raven didn’t call it a date and the reason she wanted to meet up. The coffee shop could be neutral ground that we both knew. That alone was reason enough t...

"Nero, we- ahh…! We should, hm, practice with you abilityyyyyyy!!" Hinata moaned, her walls clamping down on me as I thrust into her, milking me for a reward that was stolen by a thin piece of rubber. Despite her words, she shoved her hips back, trying to take me even deeper. Her body was slick with sweat, panting as she rode through her orgasm, her hips gyrating, grinding against mine to draw out her pleasure.

"Probably," I admitted, leaning down and planting a kiss across the ...

My scouter was ridiculous. I looked ridiculous. It covered the upper half of my face, including my nose, leaving only a small portion of my forehead near my hairline visible. My lock of hair that drifted downward seemed to separate the blood red visor that hid my eyes from view, both of my ears were covered now, which I didn't like.

But, as stupid as I looked, it was completely worth it to see Elery's dumbfounded expression. She was carrying a mountain of food on a small plate, it...

Behind the lid stood Hephusteus, exhausted but she had an afterglow that Hestia learned to recognize. Though it was usually after she and Jericho made love but to each their own. Her friend looked satisfied despite her exhaustion, her arms crossed as her lone visible eye was closed while she nodded.

The moment was ruined by Hermes going to open the lid again, “I wasn’...

“Will it be enough?” I asked, looking down at the slip of paper in my hands, several windows arranged around me. All of them filled with important decisions that could influence how the battle went down. Because, after a week of hellish training, the time had come. Tomorrow morning, at noon, the War Game began.
