I don't even have that much to say I'm just so happy about this sketch and am so happy to finish this one up with some coloring processes I've been practicing/studying c: and I am ignoring garchomp's back (dorsal?) fin because it doesn't work as well with getting squished-type posing. They're a special breed without the dorsal fin so they can get squished by butts. its whatever LOL

Got this all done!! so happy with how it came out, the background wasnt too hard to do! also really proud of the lighting ray effects, i will keep that in mind for future art!

this one is FUN to work on, gonna try to paint all of the background elements rather than get lost in the line details on them. Might be able to convey blur easier that way since there's lots of motion!

December '22 Exclusive COMPLETE

Hey, this is all done now and just in time! Sorry for the delay, had to do some extra work on the side to offset christmas gift spending and such. I hope the 2 drawings makes up for it ;w; This one was fun, especially rendering the tinsel on the tree using some leaf and foliage brushes. Gonna try and do coloring like this more often with regular art and such, but it is hard to do with more complex patterns and such so got a lot of practice ahead of me! Hey there!!! Sorry for the day late upload, I completely blanked on whether November has 30 days or 31 while fighting off a cold (and grinding the new pokemon game, totally my bad there). I hope this really fun piece makes up for it! For this piece I tried to focus on value while painting it. In this case, that meant painting it first in grayscale then adding color after the fact. From what I've read, it helps your groups of colors stand out more to first establish how areas of light and dark...

All done now! really had fun with the texturing on the trees and grass on this one, and had fun doing stuff like making the berries some specific competitively helpful ones for a goodra cause you know i gotta put some nerdy shit in there. looking forward to the next!
