Some time ago I was getting requests for various PlayStation 2 games to try. Someone recommended Downhill Domination - a game where you rocket down a mountain on a mountain bike.

In the case of this game, I've done a bit to make the game use the original dithering pattern, something I usually remove on PSOne titles as it makes GIFs just that more bigger in file size. But it wouldn't look right without it.

The Puyo Puyo series has had many a spin-off - especially on the Game Gear. Heck, it's a spin-off of the Madou series!
Here the Nazo Puyo series is a puzzle series of games, and this is the third one! One thing with Puyo games is that they would make a LOT of artwork of it all.

Such a bizarre game. It actually has some height in some stages, almost feeling like a very proto Smash Bros. with platforms to get onto. But it just looks hilariously awful - and honestly, I find that fun to go through for these kinds of GIFs.

A couple days ago we spoke about the kind of poor PlayStation game Killing Zone - a monster fighting game by Scarab.
What did they make before this? Battle Monsters for the SEGA Saturn - frankly, an even worse fighter.
A game with some really awful digitized sprites, but similar philosophy - Frankensteins, Headless creatures, a dude dressed up in a hawk costume. It's really got it all!

More obscure and, frankly, bad fighting games for the PlayStations, with a Halloween twist!
Killing Zone was made by Scarab, also known as Feel-Plus, and recieved pretty bad reviews. However, it's characters are all classic monsters of some sort, like Mummies and "Giant" (aka Not Frankenstein).

Oddly, the game is a bit hard to make GIFs of! The game is fully voiced, but doesn't have a lot of text, so cutscenes are a little hard to get to look right or have context! The Turn based aspects are not as bombastic as a Final Fantasy either.

Getting weird with Castlevania 64! This game was the first of the 3D titles, and is also pretty primitive too. Got some bizarre baddies like this giant skeleton too.
