An obscure arcade style racing game - Ray Tracers is simple, but very fast for the system.

Konami NES titles are always a treat with the artwork and text provided in their manuals - and the TMNT games are some of the best.

Continuing my delving into Alex Kidd games, BMX Trial is one of the rarer ones. The game was the only Alex Kidd game exclusively sold in Japan, and was only available to play with the paddle controller.

Emulators allow for it to be played normally though! 9 new GIFs added for this game.

Got to say - this game is brutal. I could barely get a hit in. Also, I appreciate they have a character called "Slamurai". That's so cool.

"What?" I hear you say? Well, looking around for other PSOne titles, and was searching for other games made by Paradox Interactive - developers of Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style and X-Men Mutant Academy games which are pretty good. But also? A Rock 'Em Sock 'Em fighting game.

As a final stage - a bit weak. The reverse time gimmick isn't that interesting, and most of the stage is quite blocky (Usually what happens in a Sonic game where they're low on time)

This includes scans of my own Australian cover artwork as well, which is kind of unique - it was a game that came in a large VHS style case, rather than a Genesis box!

Hedgeblog Paid: Sonic Rivals 2 (Blue Coast Zone)

The PSP Sonic titles have mainly been forgotten to time, yet surprisingly relevant in a few ways. Jakks Pacific toys have made Metal Sonic 3.0 figure, which is a character that only appears in this game.

I feel SEGA forgets that a lot of kids at this time only had a handheld - so Rivals, as not great as it is, was a lot of kids first Sonic game. Rush on the DS was certainly better, but it's just interesting how they're handled.

Sonic The Hedgeblog: Sonic Rivals 2 (Blue Coast Zone)

Previously I have got footage for Sonic Rivals 2 and GIFs from it, but only for Mystic Haunt Zone and Crystal Mountain Zone - their Haunted and Winter stages.

Now I've got some footage of it's opening stage - Blue Coast, across a few different characters like Tails, Shadow and Knuckles.

Cool Spot was a very popular game on the SEGA Mega Drive, despite being some 7-Up mascot stuff. So they made a isometric sequel - which goes in some weird directions.

The 16-Bit and 32-Bit versions are quite different too! This version I've got 14 new GIFs from it!

There is a LOT of Puyo Puyo adjacent games - Just going down the Madou Monogatari hole and you'll find some wild stuff, but one of the wildest is Puyo Puyo Da! - A rhythm game for the Dreamcast.
