I didn't realize that almost all SoulCalibur titles are still attached to their original systems. Only the first two are on Xbox One systems (from their Xbox 360 ports), and the VI, which is the only one which came out on PC too.

Continuing my journey into PS3 emulation - Street Fighter X Tekken! Not a favorite by many players nowdays, but an interesting game none-the-less. A neat thing to help make GIFs is that you can turn the entire HUD off, so I can just use that to make better GIFs.
I've added 39 new GIFs of this game. An exploration on whether PS3 titles are as nostalgia as the PSOne & PS2 titles I've been posting.

15 new GIFs from the game have been added. Ultimately, the higher the resolution of a game, the harder it is to make them fit within the file size limits of GIFs. These have to be shrunk down to roughly half the actual resolution of the game, but when viewed on Twitter or Tumblr, they fit the space they're sitting in.

"What's this?" you say? Why indeed.. this is a PlayStation 3 game! I thought I might give PS3 emulation a shot, and hey, it's actually pretty good! Super Street Fighter IV is a good option to test (though I guess it's also on PC normally), but it means I might give a few PS3 games a shot!

Continuing on with the Alex Kidd titles, High Tech World is a BAFFLING game. A redesign of another title from Japan, it's more obtuse and confusing than any Sierra game. Extremely easy to Game Over from touching the wrong thing at the wrong time, and then fighting worms and ninjas in a one-hit death march, just to go to an Arcade?

I wanted to expand on some more of the SEGA franchises, and I don't have that many Master System titles, so Alex Kidd is a good one to jump into! Shinobi World is a parody of the original Shinobi with a Alex Kidd twist. It's also brutally hard, nigh impossible without save states.

Balloon Kid is the Game Boy exclusive sequel to Balloon Fight - and weirdly, only came out in America! We scanned the manual of this rarer Nintendo title, and extracted the artwork back in 2018. Now it's available for all!

Having gotten a bunch of footage of VF5:FS on the Xbox 360, I've now made them into GIFs! 40 new GIFs have been added.
Part of this is now readjusting the way my system chooses some GIFs. Previously I had Virtua Fighter GIFs across sections of Saturn / Arcade / PS2 etc, but now I've merged them all together into a "VF" selection, which has all GIFs relating to Virtua Fighter in it. Means I need to make a bunch more GIFs for VF3, and probably VF1!

The most forgotten of the 'Hang On' franchise, this SEGA Saturn title.. well, doesn't hold up that well. Still, the chunky graphics of it all are quite nice to view.
I've added 15 GIFs of this game. This uses the replay feature, where I also turned off the HUD in the emulator!

Considered part of the 'After Burner' series, Sky Target is an arcade game, ported to the SEGA Saturn. I got some footage of the Saturn version, and have made 20 GIFs from it now!

Some years ago I had scanned in the Sonic Activity book by Troll Books, for extracting the artwork from it. However, I had not actually extracted the pages themselves and their various activities. Now I have, and have added them to the Hedgeblog list.

In the past few years, the user @Suddendesu was able to archive a bunch of magazines called 'SEGA Harmony' - known for having the artwork on the covers that we'd later see in Sonic The Screen Saver.
I have now gone through each of their archived versions, and extracted and cleaned up any photos from these issues.
