Thank you all very much for helping me out here with your suggestions, it was hard to choose because they were such good ideas that in the end, I had to do two versions of this.
For this version of Mario Bross, special thanks to MCCartoonist and WSAD, somewhat different from what I've mentioned but I wanted to give Bowsette a chance, which seems to have fallen into oblivion even though it's a great design.

More tributes to Urotsukidoji ^^
A few days ago I talked to Bobbq about making modern versions of frame tributes to anime classics. I thought it was a very interesting idea. The concept was to try to make a painting that looked like a capture of a frame respecting the original but that this looked like a remake with a more updated style.
I thought about working on something I liked and trying this idea and Urotsikidoji was the best candidate for this experiment ^^

Craracters fro Urotsukidoji.
I had this drawing staring at me, whispering "when are you going to finish me" after visiting the folder of this work I saw that the lines hadn't aged badly and that maybe it was worth giving this a little color too.
I took a breath and made the biggest sacrifice a heterosexual man can make: sacrifice an afternoon of playing video games... XD

I thought I had taken a computer generated image as a reference for this painting.
I had my suspicions that the style was familiar to me, but we have reached a point where the AI perfectly copies the artistic style of the artists. To my surprise, the painting was original (which I based this painting on) and belongs to Shexyo.
