Also Kiana James, who is a very good wrestler, is now a manager, and Guilia, who is a VERY GREAT wrestler, won't have a title defense on the two night SummerSlam card.
That card, by the way, does not seem very "biggest party of the summer."

After Hulk Hogan's passing, WWE is looking to honor him.
WWE reached out to numerous legends to bring them in or film tributes for Hulk Hogan. Some are traveling to Smackdown tonight as well. We were told by WWE sources that they are looking to honor Hogan heavily.
Sgt. Slaughter, Gerald Brisco, Brian Blair, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and Jimmy Hart have all been contacted or brought in.

We have some clarity regarding some WWE tryouts.
This week, Fightful noted that AEW veteran Leyla Hirsch was in line for a tryout as a referee. To add clarity, we're told by those close to Hirsch that she actually contacted the company about being open to working as a referee, and was able to procure a tryout. That tryout has already taken place. One WWE source said their wires got crossed on who made initial contact. As of now, we've not heard an update on her future.

Colten Gunn sustained an injury shortly after his return, and it's looking like he might need more time.
Fightful Select has learned that Gunn was originally planned for the tag team eliminator tournament. However, due to his injury, it's not looking like he will end up being able to make it. While the teams weren't publicly announced, the Gunns were planned, and AEW will have to adjust.

Another wrestler is set for a book release, and this one will be sweet.
And sour?
Fightful Select confirmed with Big E's reps that the former WWE Champion's memoirs are in the works, with a deal closed last week.
The memoir is thus far untitled, but it's based in part on Ettore Ewen's popular Players' Tribune article "Sour."
There isn't a planned release date as of yet. We'll keep you updated as we get more info.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that former WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens finally underwent surgery to repair the neck injury that sidelined him from WrestleMania 41. We’re told that the surgery was a success and took place on July 18.
